We buy up those losin' tickets pappy so when you come in you'll pick a winner!!!
I bought 2 today... just for historical purposes and all..... Held them all day cause I couldn't make up my mind which three to scratch off.
I don't think Gambler's anonymous will be hearing from me anytime soon.

Quoting myself here.... This was a doosy! I could play it off like I was joking, however I was quite serious.
The spoose comes home and I proudly display my losing 2$ worth of tickets... I told himmer that I had a hard time deciding which three to scratch off. I get this quizzical look from shem.
Himmer proceeds to tell me that you are supposed to scratch off ALL the squares....
Shem says "Crackah! They make these games DUMMY PROOF!".... and then thinks about that statement and says, "well, evidently NOT."
Tried to verify that on the www but the NC lottery pages don't tell you how many to scratch... is that such a dumb question?
bama will know... I know himmer's not a gambler probably, but shem will know.
Gambler's Anonymous, here I come!!!!!

I have two serious questions.
#1. Does anybody know what they have turned that church on 220 (Daystar Baptist maybe) into? It now looks like a warehouse or something but there are always kids hanging out there.... It's called DIY or DYI or something like that......
#2. You know when you go to Walmart (battleground) you walk in and turn to the left. You're walking down action alley near the registers... ACROSS from the registers, right near ladies clothing, there is this pulpit like stand where an employee stands and appears to be watching the cashiers and staring at customers or something. It's been a long time since I worked retail and we never had a pulpit. What's that person doing???? Why is that pulpit there???
Thank you.

Did someone mention Gremlins? Had one myself and loved it. Brand new, 11miles on it, I took it home for $2,000. Ahhh, good old days. Of course, I was a child and had to grow into it

First car I remember back in about 1977 (when I was just a baby ) was a puke green Volkswagen Rabbit. (First "fur-an" car we had after a string of more puke green cars - a big Chrysler, a bigger Buick....) It had some cutting edge restraint system where the seat belt automatically wrapped around you
If you weren't psychodelic, that green was THE color of the 70s!

It's called DIY or DYI or something like that...... I read about it in the paper a couple of weeks ago. It's still Daystar Baptist with a new preacher whose outreach is to teens and young adults. It sounded like a good concept - providing a "hang out" for teens, good message, etc - problem is, they have no funding because they no longer have many whole families attending the church. Sounded like they are already deep in debt from outfitting the church with TVs, game systems, etc.

PULPIT!! LOL Cracker! They must be preachin' the WalMart Rollback Message I have always wondered why that is THERE too. I think they might take applications for employment there???

CRACKAH! Do we need to whomp your spoose upside himmer's head? You tell him we don't cotton to him casting aspersions upon our pal!!! ♥♥♥
ACTUALLY, you provided a great public service I think. Based on the other postings here and on my personal knowledge (and we know how little there is of that!) you weren't the only one who didn't know you were supposed to scratch off EVERY space!!!
I thank you from the bottom of my ♥
