Dear Someone with an uncracked friend,

Is it possible that you are snow blind?  It sounds like your friend is a FLAKE.  I do not think that there is a snowballs chance in heck that we can help this one.   It sounds like you have fallen for this friend and would like to help, I think that you should consider dusting yourself off and drifting as far away from this one as possible.  Things might be a little frosty at first when you tell her, but there is no point in dissnowlusioning her any further. I will have to ask that you cut all ties with this friend and suggest that she find an igloo up North somewhere, way up North.

Hey maybe she will meet a nice snowman up there.

Thanks for asking, Someone with an uncracked friend

Lacka

Dear Ask Lacka,

I agreed with you she a Flake and maybe beyond help. But the Fallen part, you must be lost in a snow bank. You need to plow your way back to the real world. My snow-woman at home has not melted yet. Just trying to help dig-out a friend. I guess she could find a igloo park (Northern Trailer Park). Maybe you can set her up with Frosty.

Scrape it together Lacka, I know you will not drift away.Put on your snow shoes and don't sink this time.

Dear Someone with an uncracked friend,

How am I going to shovel my way out of this one, I see that I am in deep.  I did not sleigh, I mean say,  that you were more than friends.  I do happen to know that you have a very nice snow-woman at home.  I never would incinuate that you might be slippin out.  If I thought that I had misled anyone I would just melt.

Thanks for writing,

Lacka

Dear Ask Lacka,

This almost snowed into a town council meeting. Lets melt away any misunderstanding. We can have a 100% sunshine with the fog clearing. That's it clear sky ahead.

Cracker Jax wrote: Ok.. I was in the shower thinking about you guys and again, thinking that I feel so sorry for anyone who is missing the banter that goes on here.

All of a sudden it hit me (not the soap, an idea...) Why couldn't the NWO feature a humor column like many other papers do?

Hey Ya'll! I've got some catchin' up to do! I've been out gallivantin' about town on this gloriously bea-u-ti-ful day, had lunch at the Macaroni Grill - was good but too much $$$Texas - I think the Olive Garden is a much better value. No yummy bread sticks at Macaroni and no endless salad bowl :X

Cracker, I LOVE your idea! I think it would be fun! And speakin' of the NWO, there's a mini-McNeill (well, shem's not really that mini, shem's taller than me!) sightin' in this week's paper! Ya'll check it out now, ya'hear! I'm a proud mama :D

So where's the Nabisco Bakery clan going for dinner tonight? I threw some chicken in the crockpot this morning so we're stayin' in to watch the cold front move in. Going over to Alamance County tomorrow night to visit the McNeill-adult-in-training and take himmer out to dinner at Chili's. Did ya'll know we're getting a Chili's over on New Garden Rd soon? Tarjay too - I love all that nearby retail but I get nostalgic for what it used to be every time I drive through there :(

Ok, Someone with an uncracked friend, I think that sounds good. Let the Sun Shine in!!

Pap, did Mammy not like the loin cloth?  I just knew she would love it.  I could just see you swinging from the log rafters, and Mammy lovin' it.

Kris, I will go check out the mini McNeill.

Bama, don't hate, because Crakah had yet another good idea.  You are just a little jealous cause it is not sports we are talikng about.  Hey got an idea, well I am not in the shower dodging the soap or anything, but had a good idea anyway.  Bama you could do a sports column.  I know some really great places to get sports info, but you will have to PM me I cannot tell everyone. bye bama.  see I had to bold that so he would see it.

Hee now we can talk about him.

Macca how are you my little pengling?

"Hey, where's the forum quotes?"

I thought she did at first because she hollered out my Indian name, but...

Pappy, that's what I was searchin' for when I stumbled upon the mini-Mc. I DID NOT FIND ANY! Did you? I guess we didn't say anything profound enough this week :? well, actually, last week I guess. I think they need to put some MAAN quotes in there. Profound stuff here every minute of the day if you ask me.........

and BTW, I missed some good stuff today - ya'll were in rare form as usual!

OK, I know... I'm posting to myself, but I remembered something I saw in the NWO that I wanted to mention .... It's in the Community Notes/Calendar section.... Gideon Grove United Methodist Church, on Gideon Grove Church Road (the first right off Ellisboro Road after it crosses Highway 65/Belews Creek Road) in Stokesdale is selling Brunswick stew tomorrow after noon. My family loves Brunswick stew and these local recipes are usually really good!!! Only $4/quart too! mmmmm ♥♥♥
