We haven't heard from Steve and the kiddies lately!!!
We hope y'all are doing ok -- and not too wet! Although I guess Monty and family would like that!
Maybe "Those Were the Days" got to him.... that subliminal stuff.

We're back home now in S'field. Trying to catch up on the last 6 pages in this forum, and all the new vocabulary..........I'm still back in the Cowabunga days. Can learn about borrowing & stealing vociferous massages in one forum.
One section that I found interesting had some serious omissions......when y'all were trying to figger out blogger gender, y'all left out Patti, Sandra, & Vicki !!!! Hope they didn't get their feelin's hurt, just add their names to the unknown section !!!
Almost passin' up the CC forum......doin' all this talkin' about nothin' sure is gettin' a bunch of lookin'.
Those......Were........The........Days........My.........Friend, We.....Thought......

macca~~~ Are you living on the same planet with me?? I tackled Wally world tonight around 5:00 pm and it was INSANE! I do agree that traffic this past week was worse than it was tonight though....
The people in the store were not really the problem, though there were a bajillion of them, it was the abandoned carts full of stuff that block EVERY aisle that I want to travel down that really get my goat....Still have a couple of things I need to get... You know, the neighbor who dropped by with some goodies deserves a little something so off I go again!!!
Steve, glad you are home safe and sound. We did miss you! Sorry you have to catch up on so much, but that's what you get for leaving us and going off to bask in rainy ol' Mexico!
Tip for reading Steve's postings.... I hum "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"(Or you can insert your favorite song instead)the entire time I am reading so that silly ditty of his won't get stuck in my head!!!!

Macca, about the massage ladies.... I think you could have done a HUGE personal service to someone by interjecting my words of wisdom into their conversation.... How I wish someone like you had been there when my wonderful friend was shopping for me! I might have ended up with a nice MP fan of my very own!!
Speaking of personal space.... My brother has this "friend" who is a close talker... you know the type... they stand all up in your personal space to talk to you, and you don't even hear what they are saying because all you can think is "get out of my space!"
So, my brother feeling the need to address this problem, told his friend this:
"Imagine that I am wearing a big ol' pair of suspenders and there is a hula hoop surrounding me and attached to the ends of my suspenders. You are never to cross over into the hula hoop!"
The friend thought this was humorous, and now all my bro has to say is "HULA HOOP" and the friend backs off to converse. Much better relationship now I think.
I would like to officially announce my candidacy for president of the HULA HOOPERS Club. I can not stand for someone to be in my hula hoop. So, if I could figure out how to get this gift of a massage without someone getting all up in my hoop, then I might consider it....
No, actually I wouldn't... gross.
Euson~~~ What exactly is one to do with a non-regiftable gift such as this????

Cracker: I went to Wal-Mart SuperCenter in K'ville....
Don't you know you're supposed to keep some things on hand (maybe in your regifting cubby?) to give to those neighbors who show up unexpectedly with stuff for you?
I know you didn't ask me, but does this place that offers the massage also offer other services? Perhaps if you explained to them your aversion to massage they'd allow you to trade for a facial or manicure or pedicure?
Or maybe you could just decide to go for the massage and you'll end up loving it and we won't hear from you any more b/c you'll be getting all relaxed all the time at the spa! NO! We'd miss you too much!! Oh... I guess I got carried away...sorry!

Sorry Steve, can't say where... I mean, what IF my friend were monitoring this site and I was the ONLY person "fortunate" enough to recieve the "gift" of massage for Christmas from this place.... suffice it to say, it is NOT on High Point Road, and the word PARLOR is not in the title....
Macca~~ I did recieve a brochure from this establishment... appears to be upscale.... average price seems to be $80.00 for services...I am hoping this friend had some kind of "hookup" cause this is a big jump in price from the ornament she gave me last year....and not at all comparable in price to my tiny gift! (Embarrassing enough....)
LOL on the pedicure macca...Are you looking for an early snowstorm??? I have often told family members that it would take a RASP (metal man tool used to shave wood) to attack the dead skin on my feet!!! I would NEVER even consider un-socking them in public!!!!!!!!
Only one I know with feet worse than mine is my sister(you know... the penguin on the left, who DOES monitor this board)
I am definitely hanging on to this brochure cause everytime I look at it I die laughing! It will provide lots of things for me to talk about in future postings! (Chi treatments, flora-fango treatments and such....)

Okay, so I've been "watching" you play.... Decided to join in and found these jokes that I thought you might like... some are pretty silly, but that seems appropriate somehow. Merry Christmas!
What Christmas Carol is the favorite of parents? Silent Night.
Why are Christmas trees like bad knitters ? They both drop their needles !(That's for you, "Euson.")
What did the bald man say when he got a comb for Christmas ?
Thanks, I'll never part with it ! ("Fat Pappy"?)
Why is a burning candle like being thirsty ?
Because a little water ends both of them !
What do you get if you cross an apple with a Christmas tree ?
A pineapple !
What did the big candle say to the little candle ?
I'm going out tonight !
What happens to you at Christmas ? Yule be happy !
How long does it take to burn a Christmas candle down ? About a wick !
What happens if you eat the Christmas decorations ? You get tinsel-itus !
Why do mummies like Christmas presents? Because they're wrapped!
What did one Christmas Angel say to the other ? Halo there !
What's on Dracula's Christmas cards ? Best vicious of the season

I feel your pain Crackah! My wife thought it would be nice if we both got massages one year for Valentines Day. Nice gesture but you see I too am a fellow hoola hooper and was ill-at ease about going to say the least. I know it sounds insensitive but I complained the whole way over there. ( the idea being that she never Pre-pay and make reservations for me for something like that again.) Did I mention, I might rather have jumped out of an air plane……. and really never have wanted to do that unless it was broke.)
When we got there a nice young lady by the name of Sherry came out to take some information down and I thought maybe this won’t be so bad …. Maybe! About that time a frolicsome fellow came out and vociferously said (thanks for the new word macca.) Hel-ooo my name is Chrisssss and I’ll be working with you todayyy! Sherry said to my wife if you will come with me. I quickly interpreted and suggested that my wife may be more comfortable with a man doing her massage as I gave her a strong kick in the ankle.
To make a long story short I still would never go back even though I felt like a limp noodle…. Well I mean very relaxed when I left.
This is my vision for the future.. Just think about it no more smelling bad breth. You might even miss that piece of greenery stuck in someones tooth. The add might read something like this.
Tired of people invading your personal space? Do those pesky space invaders take a step forward every time you take a step back? Are you tired of taking cover and think of what you can stand behind to give yourself a buffer zone between you and your intruder? Well the answers to these problems and many more have now been solved. Introducing the new ( need a name for this thing)

Euson & Bama! I have a sports posting!! (Those are my cheerleaders above!) Baseball, yet!!! (I actually have more interest in the NFL, and grew up with NASCAR. In fact, thru the years I've had favorite drivers, etc. Years ago, I went to races.... but that was in another life, as they say....)
Anyway, I saw on TV where this Damon guy had shaved and cut his hair, per George's rules for the Yanks. It sounds as though the Boston fams are hoping all his strength is now gone, like Samson.

Cracker! We're within 300 hits!
(I know, we'll make it, but I'm just so impressed with how quickly we're closing in!)
That site started in October, although it's slacked off a lot since the election. Ours just started this month, and we're almost there. We've been gaining a lot lately!
