Pappy had to go break up a dog fight.
To get back to your point, Green Acres, I hope you're not advocating stealing yard art, because Pappy has enough trouble staying ahead of lynch mobs. Yard art has attained such a place of holy reverence in our local culture, that to even advocate stealing it is to invite swift and certain retribution. But not from the neighbors...

Well, I think "yard art" is stuff people like to use to decorate their yards. Some of it is stuff they put in the ground, or just have sittin around. Looks like, from what I read here, that some people think when they see cars, boats and stuff that people also use that as yard art, but i dont know.
I've seen strange things siting in yards, and think some is kinda cool. Seen some good uses of plows and other farm stuff.
Used to see all those ducks or geese or whateve they were. I don't know why people want to attract more of those things. They just crap everywhere.

Oh! those 200 postings (actually about 186 as of this posting) is probably caused by replying to myself so much! I just have so much to say!!! I can't help it!!!
Speaking of numbers Pappy......... How do you expect the playground to ever SURPASS the hits on the CC forum if you keep posting such delicious tidbits over there for us to go and read???

Oh One more thing!
WELCOME TO THE PLAYGROUND GREEN ACRES!
What macca said and all that......
Careful when you're out "shopping" for yard art! Your playground friends would hate to have to visit you in lockup!

Pappy's back from shoppin'. It's madness, I tell ya!
Maca's an excellent greeter. Maca has social skills! Pappy's been up in them hills too long.
Greeny, you never know about them lynch mobs, especially when yard art's involved. Best not to provoke 'em when possible. That's all I'm sayin.'
There's at least 2 kinds of yard art, by the way:
(1) Created yard art
(2) Evolved yard art
Created yard art starts out as yard art. Examples include little concrete hoppy toads and other such figgerines.
Evolved yard art starts out as, say, a washing machine or a pickup truck. It then evolves into yard art after a metamorphasis period lasting about one year outside. Afficianados and neighbors disagree on the official length of the metamorpasis period. Yard art status can also be computed according to the number of times the art has been mowed around, usually 15.

Third in command, huh? I don't know if I can handle all the responsiblity...I'm nowhere near as entertainin as either one of you guys! Quite an honor, though, and I'll do my best....
I found another source for yard art today while out visiting the family. (Nephew's doing fine, BTW. I told him I'd been "talking" about him to my new friends on the blog. I'm not sure he knew what I was talking about, but he did say he's still thinking about hauling his car to the mechanic for that inspection. Said he could probably glue some taillights in place....)
Anyway, along the way, I noticed that the chainsaw guy had a spot set up down at the intersection near the "Hole in the Wall" restaurant. (They serve country cookin' there, Green Acres.)

Well I am not upset with Pappy. He has some very IMPORTANT points to bring up that don't really belong over on the playground.
I only pointed it out so that you all will click this page twice for every one time you go to the CC forum!
I'll probably be making my way over there soon to make an observation or two of my own, but I'll be double clicking the playground when I do!!

You know, I was thinking about something today...
I wonder if that old Salty Dog was an OAK RIDGER and he is hibernating with all the other folks up there???

Yes, Cracker, that qualifies as "RR." And you're right, Pappy shorely can post anywhere he wants! (good point though that we need to doubleclick here for each time we go checking out what's going on over there! It does get juicy, just readin' about what goes on at those meetings. Maybe I'll just have to go and check one out for myself sometime..).

Cracker, I forgot we were on the playground with that last post... You could post the one about the unmarked officer on Strawberry Road on the "Road Rage" site and get another posting to add to your numbers! (Don't you just love a "brown noser?" At least I know my role...)
