Here-here Jane, not one cent from me either. I can not imagine someone that was "in love" with their spouse which was brutally murdered, plus to have gone through all of the trials and tears, could put themselves through an exercise of, how I would have killed my love, my wife. The only way I could see them even remotely able to do this is if he did the deed himself. In no way do I believe he didn't do it!

So Steve, to quote Arnold Schwarznegger, action hero and governor of the great state of California, from the movie "Eraser" -- "You've just been erased!"
Dern............I guess SMSandra DID find that delete button after all.
I have now had the honor of being the first one to feel the sparks from SMSandra's wand..............Yee Haa.

Now I know why y'all wanted the Monty "OT" sign to wear as a badge of honor.

Saw a GREAT movie tonight!
Old as dirt I think cause Haley Joel's still at that ghost seein'/sixth sense age, but it's called "Pay it Forward." I know, I know, you've all seen it already. It was a great movie!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On Wednesday, Rocky Balboa's gonna do it again.
Don't ask me how(He's so OLD!)... I've been thinkin' about it and the logical thing for ol' Rocky to do would have been to raise his son(a much "buffer" version of the guy who they show in the trailers as his son), train him and let him fight the last fight.
Of course, now I've convinced myself that Rocky's gonna try to fight (cause they show him fighting in the trailers).... then he'll die (Hey they killed off Mick didn't they?) and the scrawny boy child will avenge him somehow.
Either way, I'm sure we'll have to watch him drink that "raw egg" cocktail.
Yogi Bear's co-creator dies at 95
POSTED: 10:00 p.m. EST, December 18, 2006
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Joe Barbera, half of the Hanna-Barbera animation team that produced such beloved cartoon characters as Tom and Jerry, Yogi Bear and the Flintstones, died Monday, a Warner Bros. spokesman said. He was 95.
With his longtime partner, Bill Hanna (who died in 2001 at age 90), Barbera first found success creating the highly successful Tom and Jerry cartoons.
The antics of the battling cat and mouse went on to win seven Academy Awards, more than any other series with the same characters.
The partners, who had first teamed up while working at MGM in the 1930s, then went on to a whole new realm of success in the 1950s and '60s with a witty series of animated TV comedies, including "The Flintstones," "The Jetsons," "Yogi Bear," "Scooby-Doo" and "Huckleberry Hound and Friends."
Yeah, Crackah! I saw Pay It Forward fairly soon after it came out, I think.... A great movie, but so hard to watch! Very moving, but very sad!!!
And the Rocky thing.... I agree.... and the critics haven't been kind.... Then you see Stallone (who actually still looks pretty good) on the talk shows and everyone is raving about how wonderful the movie is and all, and you just gotta think, "Oh, come on...."
I just thought of another Red Sovine classic called Little Joe. A trucker dodges a busload o' kids on a mountain road, crashes down a ravine, goes blind from it, an' then Little Joe (the stray dog he befriends) becomes his seein' eye dog. I think Teddy Bear, the little boy from the other song is in there somewhere. Any Red Sovine fans can correct me if you want.
There must have been somethin' wrong with Red.
I would say that there ARE no "Red Sovine Fans" Pappy, but after getting corrected on that "tacky Christmas light" issue, I'm sorta skeered to go out on a limb....
I reckon I'll just sit back and wait for the stampede of Sovine fans to show up..... They're probably on another forum right now defending the honor of Slim Whitman or somebody....
Hey, Macca, speakin' o' the Da Vinci Code and Sir Leigh Teabing...Pappy heard t'other day that Teabing is a anagram o' Baigent (Michael Baigent) an' Leigh is the last name o' Richard Leigh. Both o' them fellers worked on that book Holy Blood, Holy Grail that Dan Brown got his idees from.
Interestin'.
Schools chief bans book on penguins
Tale describes males raising egg
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte schools superintendent and his top lieutenants have ordered a picture book about two male penguins raising an egg removed from school libraries.
But the superintendent, Peter Gorman, said yesterday he will let a committee review the decision after questions from reporters indicated that he and his staff sidestepped the school district's policy by banning the book.
"And Tango Makes Three," the real-life story of "the very first penguin in the zoo to have two daddies," has drawn objections in schools or public libraries in several states. All decided to keep the book, according to the American Library Association. Charlotte-Mecklenburg's public library has also rejected a request to remove it, a spokeswoman said.
The school district pulled the book without receiving a formal complaint. Gorman said a couple of parents had asked him about the book, in which two male penguins at New York's Central Park Zoo pair up and hatch an adopted egg, and Republican County Commissioner Bill James had e-mailed him.
James said he read an online article about the book and asked Gorman whether school libraries had it. "I am opposed to any book that promotes a homosexual lifestyle to elementary school students as normal," he said.
Four schools in the district had the book.
On Nov. 30, top school administrators sent a memo to principals and media specialists explaining the decision to ban the book from all schools.
"First, it is a picture book that focuses on homosexuality. Second, we did not feel that such information was vital to primary students. Next, we did not believe the book would stimulate growth in ethical standards, and the book is too controversial," it said.
Banning books is controversial, too.
"One parent's decision shouldn't dictate whether or not the book is available to all the other families in the community," said Deborah Caldwell-Stone of the American Library Association. "Any challenge to a book is ultimately an attempt to remove an idea from public discourse."
Banning "Tango" is a bad idea, she said, and doing it without conducting an open, balanced review is worse.
The national controversy over the book began in March, when Missouri parents asked two public libraries to remove it. Complaints also surfaced in Georgia, Tennessee, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinois.
