Huh........I think you're blood clots are circulating after sitting thru a long council meeting.......causing memory loss.........it HAD to be Fatman & Jake.

Ahem....(The things you learn when you "google!")♥♥♥

Jake and the Fatman was a television crime drama starring William Conrad as prosecutor Jason Lochinvar "Fatman" McCabe and Joe Penny as investigator Jake Styles. The series ran on CBS for five seasons from 1987 to 1992, but despite its 100-plus episodes has never been picked up for syndication in the US. Diagnosis: Murder is a spin-off of this series.

Awwwww Steve... ok... that is very possible, and my memory certainly ain't what it used to be, but Jake was first cause he deserved to be .

Jake Styles was played by Joe Penney and JL McCabe was played by William Conrad.  The dog was Max. :D

Whoops! simultaneous postin'!  Sorry Macca!

Now I did NOT know that Diagnosis Murder was a spin off of that show. Interesting....

I'll need that info when the "World Series of Pop Culture" starts back up again! :D Thanks!

Jason "Fatman" McCabe is a Hawaii-born, tough former HPD officer turned Los Angeles district attorney. He is teamed with a handsome, happy-go-lucky special investigator named Jake Styles. They often clash due to their different styles and personalities. "Fatman" hardly travels anywhere without his consistent companion Max, his pet bulldog.

Oh goodness Macca!  It came on this summer on VH1 ( I think you have to have teen girls to watch VH1).  Anyway, it was set up like a spelling bee where team members would go to the mic and answer questions about various pop culture topics... like, "name all of the Brady kids", or "who played JAKE STYLES on the JAKE and the Fatman series" ;)... If they missed it the question would go to the opposing team to steal.

It was WAY more fun than Jeopardy ( and mucho easier) unless they asked about some of today's music... then I'd lose for sure....

Morning All! I bet Cracker and Macca are still in bed. They played out here all by themselves this morning.

It is cold outside this morning. The grass is crackally when you walk across it. The moon is still bright up in the sky but not so full. Its Wednesday so the week is moving on. Hope all have a good day.
