We spoke with her mother this am, she was more coherent without all the meds in her system, will be going home on Saturday. San Jose hospital is like a Moses Cone, very modern, so both are getting good care.
I see the weight shows up as 2.88 kg, which is more in the 6.3# range

I haven't looked at the "official" Summerfield website in some time. Now I see that http://www.townofsummerfield.com and the familiar http://www.summerfield-nc.com are placeholders for an infamous "coming soon" site.
When did that happen?

Aeolius, I think they must be making the switch over to the site that Scott Redmon presented at the council meeting several months back. Hopefully it will be much nicer and easier to navigate.

| I just had Animal Control walking around at my place, apparently chasing a skunk they saw on Shoreline Dr. After that, I went to check on my animals and found 2-3 places with strong skunk odors. Phew!!

I bet it was someone dressed as animal control trying to catch a skunk so they can tie it to someone's front door and ring the doorbell on April 1.

| Did anybody read about Fat Pappy in Lorene Aherns column this morning. Absolutely no idea what she was trying to say but she mentioned several of you anonymous people. If anybody figures out what she was saying please let me know.

One would be wise to read Jerry Bledsoe's articles about the Greensboro Police Department scandals and his comments about Lorene Aheren before reading anything she has to say and taking her seriously or believing anything she has to say as the truth.
If Jerry Bledsoe is to be believed (which I do) Lorene Ahern should have been fired years ago for incompetence. She brings and has brought great shame to the journalistic profession.
I haven't seen nor read her article (which I normally don't based on her incompetence and lack of journalistic integrity), but will do so in this instance (only because of your comments).
My attitude is that if Bledsoe doesn't think much of her, then neither should I.
Besides that, she is a Yam Dankee.
(Note: My comments about Lorene Ahern have nothing to do with 'Fat Pappy' or any other anonymous poster as I have not read the article referenced, but are only a commentary on the competence and integrity (or lack thereof) of Lorene Ahern).

Here is all you need to know in a nutshell about what Lorene was trying to say. She summed up her message in her last two sentences:

That in a nutshell, was what Lorene was trying to say. Take it for whatever it means to you. Nothing more. Nothing less. It is what it is.
For once personally: I think Lorene got it right. That's all she was trying to say.
Without saying much of anything, she said a lot.
