Shoot.  I'm about 18 minutes early then....

Remember bama... you owe your boss a minute today cause you left early yesterday.

I had to shut down my comp. That accounted for the extra minute. Besides, I am sure I didnt make it out the door til about 1 after!

Well thanks for the shout out Cracker Jax. Your board is a little quiet today.

I just saw a piece on News2 about the Dwayne Crawford resignation. I thought that might get people fired up around here.

BTW this seems like the right place for me - random thoughts and everything.

You're welcome for the shout out Dead Horse!  It's not MY board though.  I just greet 'em if I happen to see 'em! :D

I saw the news 2 piece as well.

Patti looked good - dignified as always.

A big hello to DEADHORSE!!!

Are we beating a deadhorse on some topics?

I have a question that I would just like to throw out. How do you guys like the fact that statments on the forum can be edited at anytime? For example, I noticed over the weekend that a comment was made on an earlier post by an individual. I was offended and I made note of it. The individual apologized and also went back to the original post and changed what was said. A footnote was placed to make the indication, but the problem is that if someone had not read the previous insert no one knows what is going on. Also, a footnote does not always have to be noted.

Patti, I enjoy reading the forum. It discusses many issue that are important . However, I suggest that an update to the software so that statements cannot be edited to the original post. If a correction needs to be made, a new comment should be added. I find this capability misleading and leads to confusion.

I noticed one change, how many times has this actually occured?

Grits

Hmmmmm Grits.  That bears thinkin' about.  I usually only edit if I catch a typo or something, but I have edited from time to time if I wanted to take back a comment.

There are those participants who edit and edit and edit every post for some reason, and even those of us who are avid readers unfortunately miss stuff.  I can see where it would be hard to follow if you were trying to catch up....

Sometimes we even PM each other to see what we missed cause we're just nosy that way!!! :D

I'll have to ponder it to see where I stand on the issue.....

Others just want to retract what they say so that he/she will not look like a sarcastic fool when called upon it.
