Hey guys!  Busy weekend, but wasn't it glorious???

We spent a lot of time boatin' and fishin' this weekend.  Ritz Bits did all the catchin' though.... Everyone else just held their poles over the water. :?

I don't eat them, so I like to throw them back in and watch them swim off happily into the sunset.  The spoose is a ;) fish murderer  though and himmer decreed that the littlest had caught enough for dinner.

They had fish, I had salad.

Speaking of pork, I would like to thank everyone who came out and helped make the Stokesdale Fire dept bar b q a success. The pig must have been good  , only had 15 lbs. left out of around 700 to 750. I was rather bloated on the best hushpuppies in the world, not to mention strawberry pie, oh yeah and one piece of pound cake. Oh well i guess i will have to wait on the best hushpuppies in the world till next Mar. (slaw and bar-b-q was good also, tried it today)

Funny you should say that. Pudding. Pudden. Puttin' in......

We Carolina fans learned that word the hard way this afternoon when Georgetown kept puttin' the ball into the basket and scoring and leaving our team in the dust.

It's not all bad though. The sun will still come up in the morning and the sky will always be Carolina Blue.

Go 'Heels!

Morning all!! It is lovely out this morning. The birds were just waking up as I walked out to feed the chickens. The little chicks are growing like weeds. Won't be long until they will be big enough to go out with the old chickens. So far no rooster but I am still hoping they made a mistake and I get one rooster out of the bunch. Other wise I will have to find a rooster somewhere. Saw a pretty one in somebody's yard on Hosrse pen creek road the other day. I may stop or there may be some down at the feed mill also.

Have a good day today.
