^like I said before.. maybe something was misunderstood. there was alot of colloquialisms and other words/syntax that some of us are not familiar with. I feel like i am in touch with different cultures, etc and I didnt even understand what all you were saying in those posts that got edited.
PS. look up colloquialism if any of you dont know that one.. Its a $100 word.

I simply can't believe that The Northwest Observer owners and staff cannot see the real and apparent conflict of interest that exists with one of the Moderators serving as a Moderator of this Forum. That conflict of interest is a mile wide and a mile deep and it should be apparent to even a blind man.
And censorship around here largely depends on whether or not a poster supports higher taxes, ballfields and Friends For Summerfield. If anyone holds views contrary to any of those sacred cows, then watch out.
I'll probably be banned next as the NWO Forum clearly does not approve of, support nor allow dissent and diversity. Prove me wrong NWO!

For everyone reading this: I can assure you that the posts that have been censored at any time had nothing to do with support of taxes, ballfields, or anything else. It had to do with stepping across the lines of what we considered good taste.
Forum participants are asked by moderators to please tone down what they say in PMs when we believe they are getting close to the edge or have overstepped the boundaries. Only when someone totally disregards those requests and warnings and/or refuses to discuss the incident has anyone ever been banned.
We'll be happy to prove you wrong, Jim. You and anyone else can post all you like on dissent and diversity, providing you stay within the boundaries of this forum. That means flame ideas, not people and questionable postings will be handled by our moderators using their best judgment. These are the terms participants have agreed to.

Sandra, if you suddenly anointed the leader of the Concerned Citizens group as one of your Moderators, this place would erupt into complete and utter turmoil and folks would go absolutely mad. Without a doubt, every one of the elite minority posters from Summerfield would whine and scream and cry and yell CONFLICT OF INTEREST.
Yet, you and The NWO are so blind as to anoint as one of your Moderators the very head, leader and organizer of Friends For Summerfield (which by the way is diametrically in opposition to not only the Concerned Citizens but anyone who represents or embraces any of their ideas).
And if that is NOT a CONFLICT OF INTEREST of gargantuan proportions, then we should all simply abandon ever using the term Conflict Of Interest ever again and petition the dictionary companies to remove and ban the term from public use.
And I can certainly go back and with only the slightest degree of research, show you how this particular Moderator has one-sidedly edited and censored posts which were contrary to his personal and political philosophy without any regard whatsoever that the underlying posts were in full compliance with the Rules of this Forum.
And to allow the continuance of such a CONFLICT OF INTEREST simply bears out my continuing claim that a majority of the NWO Forum and even the NWO newspaper are guilty of DUPLICITY of the highest order.
The Northwest Observer continues to allow unbridled, scurrilous and even libelous remarks and irresponsible statements to be tossed around and bandied about to describe and defame the opponents of your pipe dreams, but then scream loudest when your own toes are stepped on even softly. And that to most reasonable people is HYPOCRISY of the highest order as well.
My Dear Friend, Summerfieldrd, if you wish to find and practice FREE SPEECH, you might wish to consider The Greensboro News-Record or The Rhino Times.
You simply aren't going to find it here at The Northwest Observer: The Official Newspaper and In-House Editorial Mouthpiece of the Friends For Summerfield Organization (led by none other than the NWO Forum Moderator)!
You folks are simply so blind you can't see the forest for the trees. Despite the fact that most other reasonable and prudent people out there can see what is going on here even though you can't or won't.

Actually, one of the Concerned Citizens did try his hand at "moderating" the forum. It just didn't work out.
There have been times when I didn't agree with a moderator's actions, but I can't recall anyone being censored for anything other than inappropriate remarks, such as sexual innuendo, and such. They are asked to make judgement calls which of course makes fertile ground for stirring controversy since there is no definitive answer. I've stepped over the line myself in my opinion several times. Sometimes I got called for it, others I didn't. I don't know.
I'm gonna try and behave myself and be more tolerant. Sorta like a marriage, the forum is only equal to the participants' commitment to make it work.
