The organic and substainable farmers are back. Goat Lady is there with their cheese. Just a fun place to visit on Saturday morning and get your veggies cheaper and fresher.

Morning everybody. I think I'm gonna meander over to the Summerfield ball park today and watch me a little baseball and see if I can get any good photos. The older kids know the game, but those little ones are just too cute to resist. You know -- the 5-year-olds that are laying down out in the outfield or kicking around in the dirt while the ball goes rolling past.

Then I'm gonna head over to where they're gonna build the new Oak Ridge park. They've having a cleanup day, and I want to get some pictures of the volunteers there. I don't want to go too early though -- they might try to put me to work!

Jane, Did you make it to the Farmer's Market?? I forgot to check the web cam!

What about you, Pappy??

Went to Home Depot today to stock up on needed pool supplies

Seems like everybody was in the spring buying mode, fertilizer, potting soil, pine needles, rolling out of the place.

I went to use some "round up", seems the Preen I put down several weeks ago didn't have the impact I hoped it would, the weeds are ready and rarin' to go.  Heard some weeds singing "we shall overcome".

Was a beautiful day, didn't bother with the A/C, just rode with the windows down.

Gorgeous day! Pappy never made it to the farmer's market. I had to go he'p Home Depot out with some spare change. Did a little yard work, stayed away from rabid animals as far as I could tell.

Macca- Your penguin is still dancing on my screen. I don't see your heart.

Morning all. It is gorgeous out this morning. The birds are just singing away in fact Mr. Mockingbird woke me up this morning along with Harry the hound who obviously can tell time and thought we had over slept. He can tell time but not days of the week unfortunately so if we try to sleep past 6 or 6:30 he comes to the door and whines until we get up.

Hope everybody has a great day today.
