Macca, Hey I love "Skitty", But I doubt I am the youngest on the forum. (so sad) 
Now I don't want to get into trouble or anything, that may not have been Fat Pappy. I just made the blonde connection and all. If it was, she lying to us about her age, cause this little missy was on the other side of 24.
Now I am starting to thnk that I might know who she was.......OH MY that wasn't Fat Pappy.
Well, I don't know what in the world she was talking about, I was hoping that someone else was there that could shed some light. Sorry Fat Pap for the mix up.

| -glad I missed that summerfield council meeting. Sounds like it was a real winner. too bad I dont live in Summerfield anyway. What was the girl yelling about? I mean- not what was she saying- but what was said that prompted her to jump up and start babbling? This story sounds interesting if you werent there.

I attended the meeting and She Haw kept throwing her pen down and flopping back in her chair when things did not go well.
Bill Bruce The Town's wonderful planner has handed in his resignation and is going to Guilford County. i am so sad. i hope to go over to the CC forum later today and vent my spleen on the one speaker from the floor last night. It continually amazes me that this town was able to walk and chew gum before she showed up to tell us how to do it. Actually according to her we couldn't.

Jane, Don't tell me that you too have hurt her feelings. Or wait did she hurt yours.
Bama, you should have been there....she has "it" in writing, you would have loved it. If I knew enough about what she said I would relate it to the D. Housewives. Feel free to come over to the SF meeting anytime. It is fun to watch the expressions on everyones faces if nothing else. You can almost hear what people are saying, just by their looks.
Really Jane, now was she talking about people in general attacking her, or was it people attacking her because she attacked them, when really she did not. Or did she, or did they? I almost got the feeling that somebody else wrote her speech and she wasn't sure what she was talking about.
Maybe she was talking about....remember that time somebody put that sign up at the SF TC meeting at Summerfield School that had all of the council members pictures on it and the poster said something about these people are stealing your money....Could it be that this is the kind of thing she was talking about????? Oh wait that was mean to the council, not this woman..Oh my I am so confused, I will go to the CC forum and wait for Jane to explain.....

Hey Lacka and Mecca, I like Skitty the little kitty. Run Skitty run!
I was at the meeting last night. Did you see me? My bag was pink. It was my first time seeing the new council...interesting. I have to say that I had to laugh out loud ... did you hear me Lacka and Bama??.. when I heard He-Haw talk about the businesses in our town like they were "The Man."

authority, corporations, police, government, they're all the man tho first used in the 60's by the hippies.
My snicker was towards he-haw and his thoughts on the proposed Founder's Day sign that would be displayed next to the Town Hall and then at the school for a total of one month. On this sign it would contain the names of our local businesses that had contributed to our Founder's Day celebration. His concern: The TOWN of Summerfield would be associated with these businesses..... SO!!! Aren't the people of these, so called, businesses made up of our neighbors, family and friends. I'm kind'a confused by this because I would think that you would want to promote giving and community involvement in your TOWN.
It was voted on and passed... this is good
I had to share this with you. It just sounded like he really doesn't see Summerfield's local businesses as what they really are and they are US> Maybe I misunderstood... I'm not for sure... any reflections?

| Yikes. Well you see the kind of people that are left over when you hold a council meeting on the same night as a college bowl game. I know there were a few sane ones at the meeting but it sounds like most of the sane people were home watching football. Wow. I look forward to reading about it in the NWO.

Run Skitty Little Kitty Run!!! Hey I didn't see your pink purse, but I do think I heard you laugh. Must have been sittin near me. I sometimes think that I just don't process all that is said. My head was spinnin after that woman spoke...
He haw didn't know if he wanted those business names on the Summerfield Founder's Day sign or not because he was getting it confused with those town signs that the people stood up and complained about someone DONATING a month or two ago.
Now here is an opportunity for any business in town to buy space on that sign that most of the own's population will see.
Now poor little Tammy Welbourne is going to have to bust her B&*% well you know, to get enough advertising sold. Where are those complainers now. Wake up people!!!!!
He Haw must not have had his notes clear on that one, I think he was just confused.

| I don't blame Bill Bruce. I wouldn't want to go to work everyday and take the abuse he has to take. Who will be next. We are very fortunate to have the people that we have, paid employees or volunteers. Lets work hard to not let anyone else be run out of town.
