How could I possibly desert y'all??
After the TC meeting last night, I drove to Spartanburg for a meeting at BMW this am, just got home, so trying to catch up on ALL the postings.......Holy Cow, you guys are on a roll !!

Crackah, You asked about "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (in another dimension).... My whole family loved it, and the Gene Wilder version had been a favorite before this.... I know some folks thought JOHNNY DEPP (sigh!) looked too Michael Jackson-y, but it fit with the character. It was a great movie. I bought if on DVD as soon as it came out.

Crackah, Glad you came back! Afraid I wasn't much of a leader while you were gone....
You're renting "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" not "Willy Wonka" right?
Oh, and I love JOHNNY DEPP (sigh) in ALL of his movies, including "Edward Scissorhands"! Although there have been a couple that were a little weird, even though I just swoon over him!
Also, Lacka, you mentioned that the Parks committee might prove interesting. When does that meet?
