I noticed over on the Summerfield park forum that your workday there is postponed from this Saturday.... Y'all need to come on over and enjoy the Stokesdale Elementary Spring Festival instead! It'll be held 10:00 am to 2 pm in and around the gym. Come in from Athens Road. There'll be food, games, baked goods, cake walk, PLUS all those neat inflatables the kids like.... bungee run, maze, 18 foot slide. Each classroom also created wonderful baskets to buy chances on... They're always packed with neat things and there must be a couple dozen of 'em. Drawing is at the end of the day. Y'all come on over and join us!!! ♥♥♥

Why, Macca, how smart of you to advertise our Spring Festival here! THANK YOU! We had to postpone from last Saturday because of the storms that were coming through. Fortunately, the company we rent the inflatables from had an opening this Saturday, so we were able to reschedule them. I do hope you'll all come and check out all the fun! CrackerJax, Please do come and bring all of the little Crackers! (I don't consider it a threat at all!) Be sure and say "Hey!" if you make it. I'll be in front of the gym selling game tickets in the morning and in the gym selling basket tickets from 2 to 4. The Festival goes from 10 to 4! (In between I may be at the ballpark for a while or I may be eating a delicious burger or hot dog and hanging out with my son! He's looking forward to "flushing" some of the teachers!) The weather is supposed to be nice, highs around 70 and no rain!

EVERYONE PLEASE NOTE: BOTH MACCA AND I HAD THE TIME WRONG FOR THE SPRING FESTIVAL ON SATURDAY! (and I'm the PTA President -- blush!) I was corrected at a PTA meeting tonight when I said the festival runs 10 am to 4 pm.... IT IS FROM 10 am to 3 pm.... PLEASE COME IN PLENTY OF TIME TO ENJOY EVERYTHING WE HAVE TO OFFER! (I just didn't want anyone showing up late because I posted the wrong time!!!!) I HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE THERE!

Macca...you know how sometimes the avatars act up.  I've changed mine in celebration of election week to a picture of the original Steve-O....

Mr.    McGarrett    himself from Hawaii Five-O fame.....

Soon as your cookies refresh you'll see it too.  I had to log out and then back in before it changed for me!

Strange thing... when I logged out the whole forum was in black and white until I logged in again and then I got color... anyone else noticed that or is it just me?

Cracker's Score:   86% Dixie.  Do you still use Confederate money?

Patti's gone and smacked my typin' hand with a ruler over there on the comment forum.... and I've been trying to be so good.

Macca, before you ask me, I just said that I got all the answer I EXPECTED out of a certain candidate....who shall remain nameless....
