Snicker snicker....

Cracker - thank you for keeping up with everyone. It made me feel SO GOOD to see that I was missed! You're the best!!!!!!!!! :D

Had a crazy busy day yesterday, meeting last night, up at 5am this morning to chaperone part of the band kiddies to state concert festival in Asheboro. Another group is going back at 2pm (including the mini-Mc) so I think the spoose and I might drive over to watch them perform at 8:30pm tonight. The first band (9th graders) that I went with got STRAIGHT SUPERIOR marks from all the judges!! That's a huge accomplishment! We are all pulling for the 10th, 11th and 12th grade bands to do the same this afternoon and tonight!

I'm already a proud band mama!:D

:shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:

Retirement anytime soon Steve??? Afterall, you're a grandpappy right? :D Is all that air travel turning your hair gray????

You know, Crackah -- I think part of the reason we're not getting so many notices is that PEOPLE AREN'T POSTING AS MUCH!!!!

I guess we're all taking advantage of the glorious weather!

We need to get that WiFi Aeolius keeps typalking about! ♥♥♥

Thanks Macca! I love those kids and the dedication they have. And the band director - well, it's just amazing to watch him in action. I stand in awe of (almost) all teachers but a band director has to be so much more - kind of like a coach. I watched him warm up the 9th grade band this morning (at 7:30am ) in complete amazement over how he motivates them. It is truly a gift!

Let me give you non-band folks a point of reference and then I promise to stop tootin' my horn :D My oldest is in Wind Ensemble at Elon U this semester. They are performing a concert tomorrow night and were suppose to play a piece that she already knew and had played while at NW. They aren't playing it because it was too hard for most of the Elon students! Now, Elon doesn't have a huge music school but that does speak to me about the level of the NW program.

Braggin' Band Mom, over and out ;)

Sometimes that's a function of AGE Cracker......resisting change???   Hmmmmmmmm..........

Frankly, I also noticed the system had slowed down, but since I'm usually going thru umpteen firewalls, or in remote-ville, thought it was just me.

I always uncheck the email box, so didn't know about that one.

I dropped a note to Blu-Dev to see if there was anything that could be done to remedy these maladies.

I am thinking that those are not words you want to hear mid-flight....

Kept waiting for that oxygen mask to fall.........now I know why flight attendants say "if you've got twins, put the mask on the one you like best first".  (Oh, that was ugly!!)

BTW, it's been awful lonely in the Community Survey topic, tried to get boss lady riled up, and that didn't even work.

Are y'all all worn out with surveys since Dr Sellers made his presentation last week??

Stuck a wild one on there "sister cities", just to see if anybody is paying attention.
