 Pappy I'm going to run to the hills of Mayodan.......they can't find me there.....I'll change shirts.....I know I'll get a leather jacket and they will think I'm Bama....
Got to dye the hair....

SMS is south of the border this week, so y'all don't think I've forgotten about ya.
Flight down to Houston was a doozy.....Plane had a pressurization problem, couldn't make normal altitude, had to fly lower than normal which burns more fuel, had to land in Montgomery Alabama unscheduled and take on more fuel.................therefore we all missed our connecting flights in Houston, not to mention it was already 45 min late leaving GSO.
Had to re-route to Monterrey Mexico instead of Monclova Mexico, park in Monterrey tonite, and drive 2-1/2 hrs thru the desert Tues am.
The joys of air travel. Some of these airlines should be renamed "flyin' junk" the way they're brushing over maintenance.

| Wow Steve, I am a reluctant flier anyway, glad I don't have any trips planned anytime soon. I hate all the hurry uping and waiting of air travel. Come 2-3 hours early for the flight then the flight is another hour or two late. Drives me crazy.

Sounds horrible, Steve! Glad you made it thru okay.... So, did the airline have to put all of you up for the night?

There is only one flight per day to/from Houston to Monclova MX where we were going.
If we had been willing to wait 24 hours for the next flight, then they would have put us up in Houston, unfortunately we didn't have that luxury. Therefore they re-routed us to Monterrey MX at no charge.
We're all in Monterrey so frequently anyway, we know how to get around once here. doesn't make it anymore fun though.
Y'all be good.....have to make a long trek thru the desert this am.....fortunately we're going to have a driver this time around.

Is anyone else no longer getting emails from the forum letting them know when someone has posted on the forums? I haven't gotten one in two days and even though I don't usually open them, I do use them to tell me who has posted where on the forums so I know where I need to go read...
I do not like having to keep up manually...
