The more I think about it though, I might not move to Henson Farms after all. Them farms they got over there is so small, it would be hard to have much more'n a decent size vegetable patch an' a hog er two, maybe some chickens. Be hard fer a man to plow his land with one o' them big ol' houses they got a-settin' in the middle of it. I reckon they must have some mighty rich dirt to make a livin' farmin' under them kind o' circumstances.
On t'other hand, maybe that's why they cain't pay their electric bill.

Pappy loading up and moving to Henson Farms, right next door to Mom....you got a cement pond?.......
Yeah, MIke, I reckon I'll dig me a hole fer a cement pond while I got the tractor out diggin' a new hog lagoon. Got me some vintage yard art to set up too. Imported from Deetroit.
I just flew back in from Detroit. Up there it was gray sky, rainy drizzly about 50F, wind blowing, and just yuck. The guys in the town I was visiting said they recently had 15 consecutive days of NO SUN !!
In Summerfield it's blue sky, sun shining, just beautiful day. Every time I take a trip like this, I thank my lucky stars I come home to Summerfield where it's just beautiful !!
Pappy, don't run over any $12K lights when you're digging the hog lagoon.

Loyal Ones
I am going to do some housekeeping on the topics, ie close out some of the older ones.
Any comments on topics that you feel should remain open (yeah, I know, leave MAAN and both RR's alone), or some that should be closed?? All with postings from Feb 1 forward will remain open.
PS - The reason for have the "Closed Topics" in their own area is so we can bring them back or go look at them if the need/want arises. They are closed, not deleted. The only ones that have been deleted are.........well, you know.
Thanks

OK, I'm back! ♥♥♥My pals, you don't know how much I've missed you! Been catching up on reading what got posted while I was gone, but have been so swamped at work and home since I got back that I didn't dare take time to post!!! I'm so addicted, you know, that if I get started I might not stop....♥♥♥
While that could've done wonders for my mental health, it wouldn't have made the fam or the boss too happy with me if I wasn't doing other things that needed to be done.............♥♥♥

ANywho, the trip to the mountains was as good as could be expected.... Nice weather, some good company... some folks you just avoid and ignore as much as possible.♥♥♥
Pappy, I noticed you were scanning the skies for any signal... That would've been the smoke coming out of my ears!! And you're right, I would've gladly been posting like crazy if given the opportunity... I AM MACCA, hear me roar! Or see my heart beat! ♥♥♥

CRACKAH!!!! WHERE ARE YA? HOW YA BEEN?!?!♥♥♥
I know, I've been spending as much time as possible outdoors, enjoying this great weather when I could!!
BTW: Am watching yet another JOHNNY DEPP feature on the Biography channel. This is one I haven't seen -- and of COURSE, it's GREAT!!! Although some of the pics of him 10 years ago with so short hair is very strange.... He can have lots of different looks.... This one is a newer bio, featuring films all the way thru 2005.... ♥♥♥
