Hey Kris! Lookee what I found... Lacka told me about this earlier, so I had to go googling....
From Realityblurred.com
Fuel reportedly offers Idol's Chris Daughtry a job as its lead singer
American Idol 5 frontrunner Chris Daughtry impressed the judges and the public with his rendition of “Hemorrhage” by Fuel last week. And he also impressed Fuel, so much so that they’ve reportedly offered him a job as their lead singer.
Jeff Abercrombie, the group’s bass player, told Extra that Chris did “a great job. This guy delivered. And he delivered like he’d written the song himself.” The band’s lead singer, Brett Scallions, left the group early in February. And following Chris’ performance, Randy Jackson told Access Hollywood that “Chris just got offered to be in the band Fuel, the lead singer is gone so they are trying to get it together.”
Article goes on to say that Chris is "handcuffed" by American Idol so it will be years before he can take them up on the offer....
Thought it was interesting.

I heard this last week but I thought it was just a rumor! WOW - he should win it for sure and if he doesn't he's still gonna be a star. Hmmm, he might be better off if he didn't win it. He'd have more control over his career probably........

Too bad they don't have a competent steering committee to he'p 'em do their DUE DILLIGENCE before they get themselves into these messes! (I'm beginning to hate that phrase too, Crackah.)

That little guy doesn't look like a "star" but boy can he sing! Remember, they can shine 'em up pretty good. Now, it may take a couple years growth and fixin' up. My real favorite, tho, is Bucky. What's not to love! He needs your vote!!!!Chris is a shoo-in for stardom even if he doesn't win Idol. Then there's Elliott who sings from the heart.....

Mornin' All!
Starcatchr, Can't agree with you on Chicken Little's singin. Vibrato chicken singing....Can't stomach it myself. The others are ok. Elliot is good, he just looks.... so Amish or something. Nothing against the Amish, but they don't have radios or anything do they? What's the word for that? Like it's a contradiction or something when you watch him.... There's a good word for it... Can't remember right now. Will have to research it. Bama should know.
Mike.... That's what MOM needs. A couple of Pappys next door to her.
Kris, did ya'll make lots of $Texas for the band???

GOOD MORNIN'
Cracker, about Idol Elliot. I think he looks like a Keebler Elf He can sing but I have a hard time watchin' him do it! Is it OXYMORON that you are trying to think of? Bama will know, I'm sure.
Fundraising went well for the band last night. Amazing concert put on by the students!

In my opinion all the guys are doing well. I think Chicken Little can sing but lacks a little when it comes to "the look" of an American Idol, but I did like Gideon and think he should have made it through. As far as Chris goes.....he's already famous....I heard on the radio the other day that American Idol may release him from his contract with them and let him do the gig with Fuel. They may have been just talking hypothetically but you never know. I did hate to Gideon get booted off tho. Taylor is another favorite of mine, hope he makes it a long way, spastic as he is, gotta love him..... hahaha
The girls aren't hitting on much this year.....love Medina or whatever her name is, she can really sing and of course; have to "pick pickler" she just cracks me up ....."Simon called me a MINK"....too funny.
