Harry Potter fans, when is the final book comin' out?! Is there a Holy Grail connection in the story?

Here be some interestin' speculation from Wikipedia...

"There has been much speculation from many Harry Potter fans about whether the grail legend might play a part in the final Harry Potter book. Many Harry Potter fans have seen a connection between the four founders of Hogwarts, their relics, and the four hallows in the grail legend.[6] It is known from the books that Godric Gryffindor's relic is a sword, Helga Hufflepuff's relic is a cup (chalice), and Salazar Slytherin's relic is a locket (pentacle). In addition, many scholars have argued that the four hallows in the Grail legend symbolize the four natural elements (earth, fire, water, and air).[7] J. K. Rowling has explicitly stated that the four Hogwarts founders represent the four natural elements, solidifying the connection between the four founders and the four hallows in the Grail legend.[8] It is also known that Harry Potter must find four Horcruxes, and that Voldemort wanted a relic from each of the four founders.";)

Boy there's some crazy rumors out on the www regarding Harry and what's to become of him Pappy..... one of them even says that young Malfoy is gonna join forces with the "dynamic trio" in order to defeat Voldemort.  If that happens, then I say there's hope for SF yet!!  ;)

The big bookstores have their pre-order pages up, but they say that the publication date hasn't been announced.  Word is that the title is gonna be "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".  Can't wait!!!!!

I heard on the news today that, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the 7th and final book in the series, is due out July 21.... and that J.K. Rowling is still saying that two of the main characters will die.....:?

This is for bama. I don't even know who Nelly Furtado is....

Grammy Award winning recording artist Nelly Furtado will appear on ABC's "One Life to Live" on Friday, February, 23, 2007. Furtado will appear as herself and perform "Say It Right" and Grammy-nominated "Promiscuous" from her latest album, "Loose," at Antonio Vega's (Kamar De Los Reyes) club, Capricorn.

I guess bama needs to plan a "mental health" day, go home early ("OLTL" is on at either 2 or 3, I'm not sure which) or set the VCR!! :D

haha thanks macca. I do have a vcr but it is not worth recording a soap on there jsut to get Nelly furtado. I will just check it out on youtube or some other site when clips get posted.

ps If i had DVR, I would never catch up. I dont ahve time to watch the shows that are on at the time much less those that I would record. i would have like a month long backlog of stuff to watch.

Warning: Cute Kid Story Ahead...

So tonight on the way home, the youngest Cracker was talking with the siblings about that movie "Barnyard" and there's a part in the movie where this cow (a female one who actually SHOULD have udders) is giving birth to a little cowlet ;). The pig gets all worried that she won't be successful in her endeavors and he says "She'll be a cow and a half!"

Not all that funny, I know, but when the littlest remembered that line she said "Hey Cracker!  Remember that part when that cow in the movie was laying her baby?"

I had forgotten that she once told us a story about cats "laying" kittens too.

Somehow I'm thinkin' that we should look into getting a dog instead of our wonderful chickens.  :?

Paul McCartney’s estranged wife, Heather Mills, in new cast of ’Dancing With the Stars’
By Associated Press
Wednesday, February 21, 2007 - Updated: 10:06 AM EST

NEW YORK - Here’s a bet there won’t be any Beatles songs on the next ”Dancing With the Stars.” ABC announced Wednesday that Paul McCartney’s estranged wife, Heather Mills, will be among the competitors. Mills will be the first contestant with an artificial limb to compete on the series, which returns for its fourth season March 19. She lost the leg in a motorcycle accident in 1993.:shock::shock:

Okay, this news is about a week old, but I just ran across it.

Today's Birthdays February 13
 -  Singer musician Peter Tork (The Monkees) is 65 today.

You know you're getting old when the band you liked in your formative years (I won't go into how old I was back then) has a member who is 65..... :(

Don't know if it's true or not, but I've actually heard that Stephen Stills tried out for The Monkees, but was turned down because they thought his teeth weren't good enough. We may have never had Crosby, Stills & Nash (or Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young) if ole Stephen had had better teeth.....

I don't know about you Sandra, but I like where Stephen Stills ended up just fine....Daydream Believer can't even compare to  Southern Cross...

And Davey Jones was ok for Marcia Brady, but that whole Monkees thing is something I've blocked from my memory..... I was all about Bobby Sherman myself.... :D

Well I have to agree with you there, Crackah. But, thanks to the movie "Shrek "and that Smash Mouth remake, a whole new generation has been turned on to The Monkees' music.

Yeah, I never liked Davey either. I actually had a crush on Mike Nesmith, who ended up probably being the most successful Monkee in his "after life." Did you know that his mom invented Wite-Out? (Aren't I full of useless trivia today?)

Bobby Sherman... now that takes me back. "Julie, Julie, Julie, do you love me? Julie, Julie, Julie, do you care?

Shoot me now. I'll be singing that all night.
