So that the ever popular road rage thread can remain at the top of the NW Greensboro section, I have created this topic here so that the two will not have to compete. After Christmas, we will all ignore the "lights" thread and will only care about this one in this section.

Post your rants or raves for area restaurants, or even request ideas about Prom night dining, good frog legs, creme brulee, or just plain old green beans.

Bon Appétit

To begin, I would like to know where to get some good cajun food. I am talking about authentic Gumbo, or boiled crawfish, or even a low country boil. I knwo we used to have Cajun Lady but it is gone. Anyone know of any other places that might suit? Thanks.

GREAT IDEA FOR A TOPIC BAMA!

I'll keep my eyes (and my tummy) peeled for some good eatin' spots.... Going to ask around about the Cajun food.

How VERY clever of you to post this topic in a different Section so we can now be Top 3! Clever, Clever, Clever I tell ya!

I am supposing that since you allowed Steve to do it, it will be ok for me to post over here in COLOR! Poor little Monty...

BAMA!

If you come up with some neat topics for the Oak Ridge and Stokesdale sites (it's pretty quiet over there right now too), we could control them all!!!!!

LOL Steve!

Yea, Bama.... I think for Oak Ridge, we need to call our topic "THE BREAKFAST CLUB" since so many of those Ridgers are enraged about Wendy's not serving breakfast....

Green Arces,
There use to be a great place up on Belews Creek Rd off of 65 for southern food, The Hillbily Hide-A-Way.

Yeah, That is a good place! Just limited as to when it's open. We took some relatives there when they visited last spring. It's a neat place to take folks from out of state, family-style service, all you can eat, can sit and talk at a decent size table. Family atmosphere.

They have a separate building for music. I think they do shows on Saturday nights.

I think they are still open. A few weeks ago, some signs popped up for it somewhere. They were temporary so now I cant remember where they were.

Oh for Oak Ridge, I think we can start a cheese and wine thread for them.
