Awww, Cracker, I'm glad ya'll finally got to eat!! You must have been starving by the time you got over to High Point!
I heard the Brassfield Ham's has been remodeled. I haven't been there in a couple of years ? maybe. I think the last time we were there, the famous chips were all floppy and greasy so they got put on my "don't go there anymore" list. But we might try the one out 68 now.
How does Backyard Burger compare to Fuddruckers? We LOVE Fuddrucker's burgers. Hubby grills a mean burger (had one last night - yum!) but sometimes we just like to go out for a burger too. We've been meaning to give Backyard a try.

Backyard Burger ROCKS!
It's just a burger joint, but it's a burger joint with yummy burgers!
Haven't been to Fuddruckers cause I was always afraid I'd misprounounce it!
I'm a mushroom lover and the BYard mushroom and swiss burger is scrumptious! My favorite backyard burger by far!

OK, I have nothing to report at this time but I'm trying to make a sweep of the MAAN forums so I will say that I have a date tomorrow night (with the spoose of course ) and I think we might try Revival Grill.
Haven't been there in a couple of years. I've heard they have revamped and I got a coupon in the mail today. (The best things in life are free, second best are things you have a coupon for ) Anybody got anything to report about Revival Grill?

Well, we went to Harper's in Friendly Center instead. Looked at Revival Grill menu online and was a bit too fancy for me. Harper's is always good, great service! Had homemade chips with bleu cheese (YUM!), crab cakes and cole slaw, spoose had a new southwestern chicken dish. All yummy!
Have you seen the old Burlington Industries site? WOW, they are moving along. It's sad that it is gone (I still get sad about the Terrace Theater - maybe that's why I don't like to eat at Macaroni Grill ) but looks like there will be lots more opportunity to spend some $Texas

Tossing my revival grill coupon Kris. Thanks for the heads up.
Never been there.
We ate at Ham's again Friday. Thought about that Shrimp all week.
Gotta say the one on 68 was better than Brassfield. Food and service. Of course we sat in the bar this time and the kids were with us so no alcohol incentive to drive up the tip amount may have had something to do with the lousy service.....
I get sad about those Burlington Pink windows being gone too when I ride by that spot Kris, but I quickly rebound when I think of the new retail opportunities coming our way!
Have you seen how they raped the corner of 220 and Horsepen Creek/Old Battleground for the new Harris Teeter? Talk about pitiful looking.....

Don't toss yor coupon on The reville Grill. Just go on a special occasion. It is really good food even if a little pricey. Go on a night when the kids are somewhere else.

DBF and I went to Sirloin House on 68/220 this weekend, and I was quite impressed. It's the typical fish camp/steak house decor, but the steaks were EXCELLENT, the service was great (even considering that our server was having a self-proclaimed Blonde Day *and* there was a party of at least 25 people in the middle of her section), and the prices were quite reasonable. We left stuffed to the eyebrows, yet not too light in the wallet. They also have a selection of jellies, bbq sauces and chutneys for sale at the entrance. I'm kicking myself because I didn't grab a jar of grape jelly.

The new Chop House on Pisgah Church is the best for a special lunch. Even though I couldn't get past the crabcake sandwich which is the yummiest ever, everyone raved about their assorted lunches. Maybe next time I can bypass my favorite and try something different. Good friendly service, too!

I second the sirloin house. Nice place, good food good prices. the seafood platters need walls on the sides of the plate they put so much on there.

Yep!! Been to the Sirloin House several times! Just didn't know the current name of it.
It surprised me that they have such a varied menu and everything we've tried is good. You know, usually at a fish house, the steaks aren't good and vice versa... They even had Italian stuff on the menu. Lots of variety!
