Gestalt I think Sandra is in charge of all applications.....I saw Pappy taking his by her office last night with wildflowers in one hand and medi'cine in the other.......

I'm going to drop off a brains and egg sandwich at her office this morning or maybe I'll go all out with some fried bologna.........

Took the kiddies to Casa Vallarta (on Battleground across from Wholly Guacamole) yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. (I know several of you have mentioned WG -- I've eaten there maybe 3 times, each time expecting it to be better, but I just don't like it.)

We had chicken chimichangas, chicken pollo, steak burrito and a comination plate. Also a banana chimichanga and a fried ice cream. Great service, clean and attractive restaurant and reasonable prices!! ♥♥♥ (Spilled coffee on my keyboard and wiped out my first post!!)

I'm sorry, Mr. Mike, but you'll have to do a lot better than a brains and egg sandwich if you want to get anywhere with me. My dad used to occasionally enjoy some brains and eggs (yuck!!). Right up there with liver in my book!

Sheesh... just had a running fit with Papa Johns on New Garden... they swear the spinach alfredo deluxe has always had chicken, whereas the ones I have received in the past never had chicken. I called another Papa Johns who said the pizza does NOT have chicken.... idiots

Did you have to pay extra for the chicken? Do you not like chicken? It sounds like chicken would be good on it. (Right Mr. Mike?)

I loathe the taste, texture, and smell of poultry... and always have. Mind you, I love eggs and keep chickens as pets ;)

I like to tell folks that I am a second-hand vegetarian... I only eat animals that eat vegetables ;)

And while I won't eat chicken or turkey, I'll eat sushi - octopus, eel, urchin, and conch being favorites.

I love sushi too.

Based on your dining experiences, where are the really good sushi restaurants in the Piedmont Triad?

Sushi 101 on Tate Street is very good. they are some of the same people who ran Sushi Rock on Battleground.  Also there is a restaurant on Lee Street Akashi I think is the name. It is on the right past the Coliseum going towards the Mall. Excellent. Has great Japanese magazines on a table outside the rest rooms. I love to look at them. Very nice people. Good lunch menu. Have never eaten there for dinner. I love Sushi and Sashimi.
