yeah check out.. http://www.world-mysteries.com/sci_17.htm

The Fibonacci numbers are Nature's numbering system. They appear everywhere in Nature, from the leaf arrangement in plants, to the pattern of the florets of a flower, the bracts of a pinecone, or the scales of a pineapple. The Fibonacci numbers are therefore applicable to the growth of every living thing, including a single cell, a grain of wheat, a hive of bees, and even all of mankind.

^Thats a really cool site. It shows the fibonnaci sequence in hundreds of examples. The sequence is found in the radii of spirals- this includes eashells, flowers, etc. The fibonnaci sequnce can also be found in the proportions of bones in the body and also features on your face.

I remember now. When I first read about it, me an' the young'uns went around measurin' things and it worked out ever' time.

I always thought it would be funny to have a bunch o' brothers called the Fibonacci Brothers, who are 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13... years old. Funny to all but their Mammy. Whoah!

You're so funny bama!  Glad you were on target with that one! :D Wouldn't want you to be embarrassed publicly.

That is a cool site by the way.

I gotta go call the Fibonacci brothers and tell them to read the paper!

Oh Jane, I think they have some NWO's up on the info table at town hall.  Definitely worth the trip!!

Jane, I was passing by the NWO office this morning and picked up a paper at their office. The post office typically has them out also. I usually don't get mine until Friday either, but I had to see what was said about Tuesday's town meeting.  The articles were well written as always....well done NWO! I just hope that people read their papers this weekend and learn what's happening in their town.

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
Won't you please,
Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?

I have to go now and get my sweater and tie my sneakers........

Thanks for the welcome!!  I've been a lurker for a while.

After reading today's edition of the NWO, I REALLY wanted to comment, but I couldn't come up with anything, um, "appropriate" to say.  ;)

Anyway, my little one and I had lunch and enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Summerfield Community Park, as did many others.  :)
