Mornin' all. Cold out yonder. The mockin'bird is guardin' the bird feeder. He don't care nuthin' about the birds, the feeder, or the feed in the feeder, but he's determined to keep any other bird from makin' use of it. Meanwhile, Pappy's cat has taken partic'lar interest in the mockin'bird...

It is cold out this morning and still gray. Looks like January rather than March. Spring is here soon and it won't be long before we all are complaining about how hot it is. Going over to the Farmers Market I think the organic farmers are starting back today or next Saturday. I need some cheese.

I have 8 goats in my backyard... feel free to make some cheese. Mind you, I'm not going to tell you which ones are girls (Buck, Maria, Patches, Clover, Violet, Dandylion, Moonbeam, and Artemis... the last 2 being born on a full moon, a few months back).

Hey you are talking to a woman who milked up to 17 goats at a time for 12 years. I know how and who to milk.

You had better duck!!! I knew when I said it you would pick up on it. Do you milk your goats? This time of the year we would get gallons of milk. We made yogurt and simple cheeses and what we didn't use we fed to pigs. I just loved my goats most of the time. Of course there were the times they got out and ate all the azaleas around the house. Do not believe the old wives tale that azaleas will kill a goat. Not so at least in my experience or I would have to chase the kids off the roof of the car so I could go somewhere. I was the only person in town at that time who had goat poop on their roof.

There aren't enough hours in the day, to add more tasks.
At this point, the horses, donkeys, alpaca, pig, sheep, goats, and chickens are "yard art". Feeding critters is a lot more entertaining than a Bo-Flex.

Yep
You guys set a new record. Shamu posts a new topic that was pretty specific to ballfields, and in the space of 3 posts, you were debating golf courses.
Feel free to start a new thread on golf courses and go for it............just try to avoid changing the subject to ballfields there
