Mike, would like to see more updates about your son when you have them.

I am very much concerned for his safety, and don't have a clue what you're going thru because I haven't had a child in the military, no use saying "I know what you're going thru, because I don't".

God Bless Him

Oh and I could have made it 42. We will have to try again soon, Cracker. It was a busy night. Will be curious what everybody has to say today. Jump in guests, sign up and join us.

Morning all. It is spring out side this morning although I watched the weather last night and it won't be spring this week end. We had a good turn out at council last night and they ended at a decent hour. Yeah!!

Everybody do something good for somebody today.

Ok here is my good deed for the day.

"Mr. Mike do you know you can buy bacon 4 pounds at a time at Costco for a really good price?"

See how easy it is to make somebody happy?

Now I will go find somebody else to do something nice for.

Uh oh! Sirens!  Don't like hearing those this early..... :(  Hope everyone's ok!

What a cheerful post Mr. Mike!  I'm gonna take Jane's advice and go and hunt up something positive to do today.

Good morning, everyone!

Cracker! You're giving up on getting snow? I guess macca's going to have to concede at some point, huh?

Just wanted to let you know I went on a field trip to Vulcan Quarry in Stokesdale this morning. The 5th graders from Stokesdale Elementary went and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm going to write a story about the quarry for an upcoming issue and was doing some research :^)

On April 14, 11 am - 4 pm, Vulcan is sponsoring a Community Day to benefit Good Samaritan Ministries. It's all free, but donations will be accepted. There will be grilled hot dogs, tours of the quarry, entertainment and a car show! There are also tickets being sold (for $1 each) for drawings. The grand prize is a Zero Turn Toro Riding Lawn Mower!
