Pappy, that is a SWELL IDEA.

We could throw ourselves a rather grand BISCUITS and BACON party with all the proceeds.

Yee Haw! Another good idee!

Thas' the way it is with that demon rum they say Macca. It all just starts out with that first sip or two and then it leads down the path to insurrection and compromise. Why just look at the Congress to see what I mean.

As a now teetotolling friend likes to tell it, one sip is too many and the whole liquor store is never enough. hee hee

Maybe that's where Mr. Mike is! Anyone know where the nearest Denny's is? ♥♥♥
Well I was in West Virginia riding 4 wheelers since Thursday...no Denny....We did go to a restaurant that we have visited a few times for breakfast...I order my usual Eggs, biscuits, home fries, gravy and BACON....then she said those awful words " We are OUT of BACON "....:shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock: What??? I couldn't believe it, how could a great restaurant with good gravy run out of bacon...before I could blow my top she said " we have fried bologna" :D:D:D:D:D She saved the day....I took those scramble eggs, home fries, biscuits and a large order of fried bologna and covered them with gravy....oooohhhh was it good...Pappy it was better than Mammy (don't tell her I said that, Don't want to be cut-off from meals)......this flashback is making me hungry....

Wow 21.

Also sorry to hear about the Mini Mc. Tell her I hope she's better real soon!

Great day for couch snuggling!!!

Thanks CJ - you're the best! The mini-Mc was back at school today, she's feeling better. There are lots of bugs about I think and she is interning in a first grade classroom so that explains it! Still missin' my kitty but we were so lucky to have her with us for so long.

Hope the Cracker family is all doing well! Glad to read that you are now LOST too! WOW - the season premiere was really good last week! Those OTHERS are some scary folks!

Hey now, we are not makin shine, though from what I am told Stokes county has a rep for it.

I am a respectable wine sipper. Hubby doesn't even do wine, he thinks it is yukky. That is what happens when you don't have any Italian blood in ya. :P He thinks he is all that cause he is French Canadian with a bit of Indian in him, he is pretty cute, I have to admit.

The beauty of making liquer with real fruit is after you strain the liquer and put it in pretty bottles, you can use the fruit on ice cream, yummy.

I am at a disadvantage in this group, some of you have probably met, and I have not had the pleasure.

Talk with you all soon.

Dont' let that stop you,,,,,,,,,we spoke on line for months before meeting face to face

Let me only say it is a very wonderful, down to earth, grass roots group of folks who post here, both online & in person.
