Dear Lacka,
We have a playground pal who flits around, teasing us with promises of intriguing tales of espionage and all.....

This pal has the potential to be highly entertaining but I sometimes get the feeling himmer could do more but holds out on us. Right now, for instance, himmer is probably hanging out in some hammock while we are waiting to throw himmer a party for reaching 600 posts!

What can we do to encourage this pal to come to play more often? After all, some of us have vicarious lives to live through all of these entertaining stories!!!:D

Signed,
Waiting Patiently  ♥♥♥

Dear Waiting Patiently,

Himmer must be waiting to post something really really great for the 600th post.

Thanks for asking,

Lacka

Howdy, Macca. Pappy was passed out in his favorite chair when the young'un that knows how to tell time said, "Wake up, Pappy! It's time to go to bed!"

I was hopin' to hyar some council meetin' news, but maybe I'll sleep better if'n I don't.

Dang, Macca. I reckon Summerfield town council night for you is like Gray's Anatomy night fer me. Sorry.

Hey, maybe we can trade Stokesdale DC and BS fer you an' Jim Flynt as honorary Summerfieldians. We'll even throw in their Mom! (As hard as we can!)

Tee hee, Pappy! Thanks for the compliment -- I think!♥♥♥

'Course, if you send THEM over here, I'd have to seriously consider a move!!! I remember ol' DC back in the day, when we just thought he was a little loopy with the penny tax rebate deal....♥♥♥

Hee hee! That's why I wear a mask!

By the way, here is a bulletin just handed me. Y'all didn't mention the question asked durin' the public comment portion o' the nuisance ord'nance discussion last night. I b'lieve it was Mr. Gordon who asked the question that's bound to be on ever'body's mind in these uncertain times...

"What about kudzu?"

Hee hee Pappy!  I figured he must have forgotten his original question and that question was a result of the podium falling apart and landing on his foot!

BTW... Kudzu vines make some really pretty baskets. Remind me to ask Lacka if shem knows how to make those. :D
