Hailstorm over here in Stokesdale this afternoon. The ground was covered in 'white'. Looked like a winter ice storm after it was over. Did you folks in SField and The Ridge get it too?

Glad you're back on the ground Steve!!!

Jim, I think the Hailstorm was on the north side of Summerfield. The southerners didn't seem to get any but they got some vicious thunder and lightening.

 A friend of mine was in Oak Ridge and said that the road was covered.

Woo wee!!! What a storm this afternoon! I didn't realize it hailed (guess I was in Wal-Mart at the time; heard the noise but don't know if it actually hailed there!)... Then drove back to Stokesdale for the school's first Papa John's pizza night.... They bring this cute little cart, park in the parking lot and folks can just walk up or drive up and order pizza! Benefits the PTA.... Single topping medium pizza for $6. Sold 80 pizzas in the first 45 minutes!!! Had more delivered 3 different times!!! Even in all that rain it was a HUGE success! You Stokesdalians (or anyone else passing thru) remember -- 4th Thursday of each month -- 4:30 - 7:30 in the parking lot in front of the school (new entrance -- on Athens Road). I bet they'll be better prepared next time.... Had no idea how much folks out here like pizza and a good deal.... People were takin' 'em 3 and 4 at a time..... ♥♥♥

I's here, Crackah! Just workin' on a project while watchin' that Grey's Anatomy! OK, was the guy with Mrs. McDreamy the guy she was foolin' around with while they were married, wherever they were before he moved to Seattle???? Wasn't that neat that Amazon claimed the panties??? As if her be-hind would fit in 'em! And George couldn't figure that out??!!?? You were right about the Nazi!!! But it looks as though she's back!! I thought maybe Izzy was going to develop a home-based baking business! Good therapy, plus pays the bills...♥♥♥

Watched "Shark" (Is that the name of it?) with James Woods after Grey.... Seemed pretty good.... The big guy, detective who came after Bobby died, or maybe around that time -- can't remember his name -- from NYPD Blue was on it; looks as though he'll be a regular... ♥♥♥

Mornin', you all.

Pappy got a little scalp massage from the hail last night. Very stimulatin'! Three or four hair follicles actually woke up outta their comas fer a few minutes, looked around, yawned, and went back to sleep.

Hope the chicken didn't get tenderized in the hailstorm!

Them was some wild lookin' clouds. One of 'em looked like a face with a giant forehead lookin' down on me. As I was lookin' at it, lightnin' came from another cloud an' lit it up, almost like it was gettin' a power boost from it. Weird...

The pizza cart is sure to be a success with busy Moms and Dads.  I was there picking up our first grader so was a little too early for the festivities. We hit the hwy just in time for the hailstorm.  Most impressive!  It was like stones hitting the car and I noticed that our  munchkin in the back seat had his head covered and was peeping out at the show.

I'd hate to have been ridin' a bike in that mess!

Have y'all noticed that more bike riders seem to be followin' the rules o' the road better lately? I've seen several out this way actually waitin' in line at a light instead o' cuttin' ahead.

Very interesting observation Pappy.....I've witnessed a phenomena similar to that before....:D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Macca, how about reminding us of the pizza event BEFORE it happens next time!!  That's a great deal! :D
Crackah, you bad.
By the way, I think Mr Mike's rapper name should be Bacon Ice. He's hot and he's cool!
Yes Pappy, I've heard that before.  I blame ya'll for it.  Seems that everytime ya'll leave me alone here I'm sayin' somethin' I might not oughta say.
I don't think I spelled phenomena correctly maybe it's phenomenon.... oh well, Macca will fix it. :D
Wonder where Bacon Ice is today?
