I used to have lots more pennies than I do now, but opened up a savings account with 'em one time. Got some now, but haven't pulled all together in one spot in a while! The spoose just hates pennies, and has said for a long time that the gov't should just quit makin' 'em. Now he's got support for that!!!

Pappy! You can send those biscuits that you and Mr. Mike no longer eat (you know, the good ol' unhealthy homemade ones!) my way ..... ♥♥♥

From Merriam-Webster online: "The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary."

MAN! (Or should I say MAAN!?!) It sure is quiet on here tonight!! I dozed off a few minutes ago, until the spoose made some noise that startled me awake!

Read on the online version of the NW Observer today about the homeowner on Equestrian Lane in S'field finding marijuana growing there! Anybody we know live near there??? ♥♥♥

I believe the word the polymath originally taught us (in the MAAN archives) was "Hubristic."

From Dictionary.com....

Hubristic: Overbearing pride or presumption; arrogance

Now I must wonder if Steve-O was calling me hubristic???

Here's something for you folks who'd like to be more involved in your community! :D The Stokesdale PARADE Committee will hold its first meeting of this year tomorrow night to plan for our December parade. You do NOT have to live in Stokesdale to help with the parade. It is the only one held in this area, and we attract participants as well as viewers from all over!

We ave a very small committee, and we'd love to have more help. We'd like to have more ideas as well as help making contacts with groups and individuals we'd like to invite.

Please consider joining in! You get to meet new folks as well as help with an event that everyone enjoys! Wednesday, July 26, 7:30 p.m. at Stokesdale Town Hall, located on Highway 158 right across from the fire station. Thanks!!

(See, I even ventured into a little color here to fit in more and make the post more visible, hoping to attract more attention!):D
