BTW Kris!  love the cartoons... they really "festive" things up in here too!

Pappy, I saw a bunch of those hillbilly toys that you whittle while I was gone....

Triscuit picked herself up a batch of Cow Seeds which looked like rocks that had been painted black and white to me.... Anyway, the directions say to plant them right side up (So you don't grow upside down cows) and moo softly when you water them....

My favorite was something you might find as useful as I have.  Someone took a large stick and cut it into cross section type slices about 1/4 inch thick which made round disks that they call tuits.

I was told that next time my younguns tell me they'll do something when they get around to it, I can hand them one of these disks and tell them that now they have a round tuit!

Glad you're back, Crackah!

Ditto on the cartoons, Kris.

Pappy's eatin' tacos fer lunch in honor o' El Super Matador Steve. Pappy's got 'em so spicy with hot sauce, they's almost off topic!

******** ATTENTION ALL USERS ********

Hello Everyone -

We certainly appreciate your patience and I wanted to take this opportunity to let each of you know that we appreciate your feedback as well....I spoke with Patti today and based upon the responses we are going to return the Forum back to posting the comments as they were in the beginning....instead of making the latest response appear first...I also spoke to the developer and he is aware of the "glitch"...however that doesn't matter now since we are back to normal methods...

The forum should be as it was in the beginning and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask...

Thanks again for your understanding & patience during our "fine tuning"

Scott

Too funny Kris!  Now Lacka will come back... she was lost in all of the turbulance....

(The forum spell checker says turbulance is spelled correctly, but it doesn't look right to me....  )

Won't macca be surprised when she returns???  I'm gonna take the credit and tell her I fixed it myself I think....:D  She won't know the diff.

I did go to the coal mine in Beckley!   A real coal miner took us on a tour... He explained to us how they quit using timber to shore up the mine shafts and instead they drive these 4 foot long bolts into the ceiling preceeded by some type of glue (epoxy or something) Didn't make much sense to me, but talked to Ponder about it and he said it was an engineerin' thing and I shouldn't worry about it..... Still didn't like the thought of being in that cave with a 4 ft. bolt holding a mountian up over my head!!! Just isn't logical....

Went to spy on the eagles... way cool.  We need to get us a few of those birdies... those folks have over 1200 members!!!!
