Can't say I blame him....

You are not in trouble at all Kris!  I was just curious where you heard that term.

I asked my highschooler, and himmer hasn't heard it before and that's where I learn all of my new vocab words!

Besides, I enjoy educating myself..... Most of the time...

OK, is it safe to come out yet?

So here's the whale of a tale :D  I was wondering about inventing new words so I googled that other new word "truthiness" that Macca told us about a couple of weeks ago. I was reading this article about it and it mentioned this other "word of the year"  Since my spoose (© 2006 by Macca) works for an underwear (or more seriously, "intimate apparel" :)) company, I found this quite interesting. Now, I haven't actually googled "the word" so I hope that it's not bad and I'm now banned for life from the forum

Kris........have you heard the old saying about getting blood out of a turnip??

Oh, OK, it was worth a try :D and the money was going to go to a good cause and all :)

Of course, if'n I built that parking garage at the high school, Guilford County Schools would probably just have to come along and figure out a way to convert it into classrooms

I would love to take credit for this word, but I'm certain that my good friend CRACKAH used it first! ♥♥♥

My apologies - spoose must have been before my time.

Since my spoose (© 2006 by Macca)

I actually think SMS Steve-O coined spoose about a bajillion pages back when his spoose was flinging germs all over him.... I could be mistaken....

Kris... shhhh  com'ere Whaletail is basically the view of a thong peeking over the top of a lady's (or to be politically correct for bama.. a man's.. uh... gag) pants.... Or the view (from behind) of a thong actually being worn by someone... uh gag again... ok... so it wasn't the actual definition that was offensive per se, but the ads that came up with the page when I googled it.  And it does look like a whaletail.

Frightening, yet educational.

Hey yall listen (don't tell bama I see him trying to sneak up on me.  Actually he has passed me.  I don't remember his being close yesterday.  He acts like this is not important to him, the race and all, but I know better, I see what he is like.  I guess he hasn't noticed that I can spin a long tale, or certainly do one liners, he will never beat me to 400) I gotta go catch up for the day.  I had to work today, and missed a lot it looks like.

Hey I hear that Crackah has a special pic to post........

Pappy, I gotta tell you why it hasn't been snowing.  We had all of these tough winters many wears back.  I got tired of being cold, filling the bathtub with water and chopping wood.  So I go and spend all of this money on a generator.  Guess what we have not really had a bad winter since.  Kinda like if you want it to rain you just wash your car.  I am thinking that everyone in the neighborhood bought a generator that year, and that is why there is no snow....  What do you think Pappy?

Kris... Had I known that we were actually doing "job research" I would have approached it with more of a scientific mind and perhaps wouldn't have been quite as "surprised."
