Pappy's been seein' some Bradford pears an such tryin' to bud out early. I reckon they're gonna get zapped if they ain't careful. Pappy knows how they feel, though. If it ain't gonna snow like a decent winter ought to, then let's just jump ahead to spring. Nothin' I enjoy more than hearin' that first chorus of frogs tunin' up in the spring, or seein' that first faint wash of color in the woods as the redbuds an' poplars an' maples bud out like in one o' ol' man Cezanne's watercolors. That's when you might see the rarest spring sight of all: barefoot Earth Pappy, festooned in flowin' festive foliage, doin' his spring dance o' joy across the fields and woodland glades!

(OK, Pappy, that's enough left-handed jug practice, ol' timer. It's beddy-bye time. 'Night, ever'body.)

Well, Crackah! I'm watching "Casablanca" for the umpteenth (or is it bazillionth?) time, so who knows what I'll dream about? Beautiful Ingrid Bergman? Rick's Cafe? Oh, yeah, there's gambling in the back room!

I saw "The African Queen" before this, so maybe I'll dream about that!

TCM is doing 31 days of Oscar in prep for the Academy Awards.... I guess I should post this on Bullwinkle's Corner....♥♥♥

Steve didn't check in Tues nite.....or all day Wed.   It's around midnight, I just landed in Detroit.  Super Bowl stuff ALL OVER THE PLACE.  Just did a quick look/see, looks like y'all are having your normal good time here.  Seeing alot of activity on all the forums, new members coming on everyday which is great.   Went from nice & warm in Mex to "el shiver - o"  up here.

Congratulations to all who got congratulated over the past few pages.  I remember Mike hit 100 posts.

Y'all behave, we'll talk this weekend.

Steve, I think you should start using "Typalk On"......I'm gonna start charging royalties for the use of my new little word. The profits will be used to build a 3-story parking garage over at the high school :D

Me too, Kris, but I'm still throwin' a couple extra biscuits on the plate!

Maybe you'll get some snow after all, Crackah! Pappy's toes ain't been talkin' none about snow, but I'll keep takin' readin's and see what they say. Pappy's toes are more accurate than a forecast--they're a five-cast!

Maybe Macca dreamed up about 10 or 12 inches of snow with a singin' Mountie an' a dog sled in it. If Pappy's dog was leadin' a sled, you'd never get past the kitchen.

Kris I hate to burst your bubble but (off the top o' my head and without research) blog is short for weblog which is one person typing like a journal. I am not sure if it evolved to include message boards or forums. Someone with a bit more free time can feel free to refute my claim. have fun. muu haha.

But BAMA -- In your vast research, and in the caverns of your mind, have you run across the word "TYPALK"? That's the word KRIS has created!!! ♥♥♥

SORRY. GANG! If I dreamed anything last night, nothing has happened to trigger my memory of it yet!!! ♥♥♥
