The same thing happened to me yesterday, Crackah! I could've sworn I had posted something here but when I went back later, it wasn't there! I decided I must've forgotten to hit "send" after previewing it!

Took the grandson to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night at Brassfield.

Good flick.  Whoever played the evil woman that took over Hogwarts for awhile reminded me of my 3rd grade teacher.  Grouchy as heck, but always wearing that false plastic smile.

My grandson ate one of those $6.25 buckets of popcorn (OK, I helped), got it refilled and went thru about 1/2 of another...........good grief.

Today taking the grand-daughter to see Shrek III to afternoon show.  Looking forward to it.

Pappy watched Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much, with Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day. I think he should have titled it The Woman Who Sang Que Sera, Sera Too Much. Good movie though. Pappy likes ol' Hitchcock most o' the time.

I always liked ol' Doris Day, when she wasn't singin' Que sera sera anyway... ;)

Dateline showed Merideth Viera's hour long interview with J.K. Rowling last night.  Very enlightening!!! (No spoilers ahead)  She told several things about the story that the reader wouldn't know..... details about the epilogue that weren't in the book.  It was like getting an extra chapter.....

She also said that she is taking time off, but that she will definitely write again.  I wonder if she could possibly ever write anything as captivating as the Harry Potter series?

The way she talked about Teddy (Last name could be considered a spoiler so I'll leave it out), I wonder if she'll write about him next.  She really had lots of feelings for that character, even though he was sort of a non character....

I found it interesting that she said that when she visited the sets of the movies, it was like walking through her own head - because they had really captured what she envisioned.

One other thing.... She said that Universal is planning a "Harry Potter" theme park in Orlando.  That ought to be fun!

I read where Keith Richards (Rolling Stones' legendary guitarist and wild man -- remember the millions they lost when they couldn't tour b/c he fell out of a tree??!!?? Then it was reported that he had his dad cremated and added his ashes with some drug he was smoking. JOHNNY DEPP has said he based Capt. Jack Sparrow of the Pirate movies on Keith...;)) has signed a deal for his memoirs.

Now, if it's a book based on what he can REMEMBER, it might be a pretty thin book! :D

(Luv ya, Keith!!) ♥♥♥

BTW: Hope to finish "Sorcerer's Stone" by the weekend. Gotta plan a trip to Ed McKay's to pic up #2!!

I find myself envisioning what parts of the story would lend themselves to amusement park rides! Brooms! Quidditch! Platform Nine and Three Quarters!♥♥♥

CRACKAH!! Wish I could take credit for givin' 'em the idea, but they announced that back in late May or early June. They said that they plan to open it in 2009. Woo hoo!! ;)

Finished Azkaban today!! EXPECTO PATRONUM!! 3 down, 4 to go! The remaining ones are the heavy-hitters, though -- all many more pages than the others!

Don't worry Macca.  Goblet's a fast read.  Once you're hooked, you can't put it down!

Congrats on book 3!

By the way, anybody gonna try out fer that Redneck Zombies of Mebane movie? They was lookin' fer extras to be zombies. They might have all they need by now. The Mebane town council was gonna make 'em change the name I think.

They just said on Fox8 that filming will be going on tomorrow morning and that the title is "Southern Undead." :D
