CRAX its been to hot to post!
don"t see how Mike can fry bacon and bake biscuits in this heat!
we are still celebrating William's 14th I think all those candles are causing the heat wave.

| Mornin' all. Biscuits an' java ready on the firin' line. I cain't hold 'em too long. Pappy's generous but Pappy's hongry. Mr MIke's bound to have got wind of 'em by now. We also have cantalope, peaches, an' strawberries fer the runners up.

You ain't too late, Macca! He'p yerse'f! Pappy's been watchin' a little drama this mornin' in the backyard.
Pappy's cat was real quiet, starin' off the Texas deck at somethin'. Turned out that somethin' was a big chicken hawk settin' on the fence starin' back at Pappy's cat on the Texas deck. Two mighty hunters takin' each other's measure. Two deadly predators, two professional assassins pause in their deadly dance to test each other's skills. The raptor, supreme master of the sky, sudden death from above, feared by all vs. the subtle feline, master of the Texas deck an' bird feeder, deliverin' derisive death threats at small birds who suffer the very real fear they'll die laughin' at her, chokin' on their birdseed, and then they'll be hers.
Their cold, unblinkin' eyes locked in a silent combat of sheer will. Who will blink first an' be forever disgraced? Who will emerge as top predator?
LOOK OUT! There's the mockin' bird makin' a strafin' run at the hawk! Hee hee! That feisty little feller made 'em all scatter! Hee hee! Top predator!
