Oooooohhhhhh! I forgot about the parade!!!

Wonder if I can make it back in time!!! Hmmmmm.... All that snow in the midwest.... but it might melt by the weekend.....

OK.... Y'all stay put! I'll be back there by next weekend, so you can't come and lounge by the pool here with me.... or drive down 101, or visit the San Diego Zoo, or take a little trip to Tijuana (oooppss... OF COURSE we wouldn't do that.... might be too temptin' to bring back contraband or a illegal alien or something.....) Maybe next time! ♥♥♥

Come on home fer the holidays, Macca!

How 'bout packin' us up some snow in a cooler when you pass through the midwest. We might need some snowball ammo if war breaks out with Gibsonville. Hee hee!

Pappy next thing you know, them folks down in Gibsonville will be wanting to steal our horse shows, arboretums and amphitheaters.

Enuff is enuff. Time for them to wave the white flag 'afores we start throwing snowballs!

(Maybe we could send them some CC's for good measure)

Morining all. It is a beautiful sunrise this morning. The sky is all pink and gold and the air is crisp and cold. Really a beautiful. The chickens were happy to get out of their house and the horses were playing in the field andthe dogs were playing in the leaves. A wonderful Sunday morning.

Word of the day: gallimaufry: gal·li·mau·fry [gal-uh-maw-free] a hodgepodge; jumble; confused medley.

My most favorite gallimaufry in the world just celebrated its first birthday!

(Crackah's sentences are always w-a-y better than mine!!) ♥♥♥

I woke up this morning wondering why it is that the organizers of the Stokesdale Christmas Parade were looking for and needing all those convertibles.

It seems to me that all those politicians would be better served to follow the model of Jimmy and Roslyn Carter (from the Carter Inauguration Parade) and walk the parade route and be AMONG the people rather than UP in those convertibles where they are SEPARATED from the common folk.

Ain't this just simply "showboating" on their part?

In fact, for most folk, the Christmas parade is about the only time anyone ever sees these politicians in town unless they have business before the Town Council.

Seems to me it wouldn't hurt most of 'em to get a little exercise either and it would send a wonderful important message on the continuing value of exercise and physical exertion to public health.

'Course exercise probably isn't as much fun as showboatin'!

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel this way?

Well said, Macca. And, as usual, I agree.

Beautiful sunrise, y'all!

Say, Crackah, Pappy saw a ring aroun' the moon last night. That means snow or somethin'. Might mean I need to warsh my winders.

I don't know if I want politicians runnin' loose in the street, Mr Jim. Hee hee!
