I am not sure how many phases we now have at one time it was two phases but may have been broken out to 3.
I understand the curb and guttering is done in front of the community building. Haven't gone to see yet. I can't wait for the equipment to come for the kids March or April I think. I have gone over the the park on 421 on numerous occasions and it is so much fun watching the kids play on the equipement. Won't it be fun to walk on the trails and meet our neighbors this spring although I think trails maybe in phase 2. If you haven't driven over and looked go look although lol it is a mud hole right now you can begin to visualize the front of the park anyway.

The parking areas at the park look great! So does the service road and bridge. Can't believe it has happened this fast. It's definitely worth a trip over there even if you can't picnic just yet. The playground area is laid out as is the outdoor classroom. What a cool idea - a designated learning center in the park.

I took a spin over to the new park today! WOW! Curbing is laid out and looks good. That's really going to be an asset to the community center too. Our park is starting to look like something other than a mudhole now....
Go check it out!!

Snow falling is alway pretty Sandra, however the park would have been prettier if the mud had been covered by about 12 inches of white stuff......
<sigh>

Amen- Cracker. I grew up in a family where my father was one religion and my mother another. Daddy always said he hated snow as we kids would be hoping excitedly that we would get a foot or more. He would claim that he could tell who had more pull in heaven by whether it snowed or not. I remember as a young kid that caused me a great deal of thought. LOL

If'n y'all hear any horrible screechin' sounds like about a hunderd cats clawin' a blackboard, it's just Pappy limberin' up my ol' bones to do my Spring dance. By the time Spring gets here, I might be ready. Either that or it's Mick Jagger limberin' up for next year's Stupid Bowl. By the time it gets here he might be ready.

I'm glad StewartM somehow got this conversation tied back into the park. Sorry, Pappy Jagger, but I'm giving you an OT. (Where is Policeman Steve when we need him?)
