Oh, well...

Wonder who did that???

What a shame.

Careful mystery "no" voter, we might not let you come to our picnic in the park!!!

<kidding ya>

Wish you'd speak up though.

I'd like to know why you're opposed to the park.

I went over to the park over the weekend to check out the progress. It's looking good! It was a beautiful day, and I walked on the trail all the way around the lake. Can't wait til I can go over and swing or play on the monkey bars. I promise to wait my turn and won't push any little kids off so I can jump on.

Anyone who hasn't been over to see what has been done at the park and community center should go. I know that Fat Pappy has been there. (Pappy, I saw where you left your "mark." :))

The park is really lookin' good! I think ever'body should be proud of what's goin' on there an' proud o' how well our money was INVESTED in our town! An' especially proud o' all the hard-workin' people who are makin' it happen!

Sandra, if I knew what you were talkin' about, I'd say that's one small mark fer Pappy, one giant mark fer Everypappy! ;)

I'll meet you at the park, Cracker. Don't forget your camera.

Speaking of which, I believe the town is going to need help around the end of this month putting those swings and slides and monkey bars together. Anybody who can help out will be welcome (thank goodness Reese found those directions!)

Next weekend (April 28-30), the parks committee will be putting together the playground equipment. I hear they'll even be serving a free lunch to volunteers. If you can help on Friday, Saturday or even Sunday afternoon (if needed), please contact Debbie Hoffman. I believe the hours will be 8-12 and 1-5.

If anybody has more details, please post them here.

Sandra,

as always you are correct- they are hoping for teams, like father/son; mother/son, friend/friend.  The playground salesperson(installer?)- will be there to guide everyone.

My son and I are working Sat 1/5!

To my understanding, there will be one or two reps from the playground equipment company coordinating the project.

Hey everyone here are the times and days for the playground raising. I'll be there to help out! I want to see these kids swing, laugh and have fun in the park. When I called they still could use people.

Volunteers needed to help build the playground! Call Town Hall if you can lend a hand, 643-8655.

Unfortunately due to our very weather this week the playground installer supervisor has recommended the project be cancelled this weekend.

I will let everyone know when the new date will be.
