Hey CJ & all others.  Rather than make excuses, I'll fess up I've done more lurking than posting for awhile.  But y'all are having too much fun, it's been my loss, so wanted to jump back in.

Changed my avatar for a fresh look.

By the way, what country are you in these days, Steve-O? (Let's see if he remembers...) I'll give you a minute in case you have to go look out the winder or somethin'. Hee hee!

Yes, all our forum participants are wonderful people Pappy. I think we're very blessed to have such a wonderful & diverse group.

I am in the wonderful town of Summerfield this weekend, kind of a hot one, and seems the area is suffering from lack of rain.

Monday am, I have to fly back to Toronto for the day, then Tues am onto Grand Rapids MI.   Hope to be home Thurs for a long weekend.

Have been reading about the plane crash in Louisville today, I have been on that same flight more than once.  Holy Cow, wrong runway, how in the world can that happen with all the "safeguards" in place.

My wife is getting calls tonight - being deployed by the Red Cross for the upcoming hurricane.  Seems the Cross learned a few lessons about quicker action after last years debacle.  I noticed George Bush went ahead and declared an emergency for Florida in advance too.  Now, let's watch FEMA.

I have an earth shattering question for ya! No one has mentioned it.... How do ya like my new color? It's "macca." ♥♥♥

While I love the "Idea" (sorry for the ""!) of the color "macca," I'm not wild about the color itself!! What to do, what to do!!!

I could go with "maccagreen," but it looks more like "Panther Blue."

BTW: This is "maccablue."

Anxiously awaiting your response! ♥♥♥
Dear um well I know it is you Macca, I think the problem here is that you are struggling with idenity.  It is true that colors can show you personality, mood, or state of mind.  However it should not overtake your life.  Colors are associated with the following:
BLACK & GRAYS
Formal, mournful, rich, elegant, serious, seriousness, distinctiveness, boldness, somberness', authority, practicality and a corporate mentality. Unless you are Bama who is just too lazy to change his colors.  Use this color if you are talking Sports.

BLUES
Authority, dignity, security, faithfulness, trust, reliability, belonging, coolness.
Deep blues: Analytical, serious. scholarly, academic, naval, regal.
Pale blues: Calm, pacific, ethereal, fresh, clean, cool. Either that or you just have good taste and know that this is the prettiest color offered in the standard color selection of this forum.   You really look best in this color.

BROWNS & BEIGES
somber, natural, authentic, utility, earthiness, woodiness and subtle richness. GAG.  Don't use it.

GREENS
Environmental, motion, mobility, wealth, natural, tranquility, health, freshness. I think this would be a nice color family for you Macca.

ORANGES
Warm, cautious, hazardous, cozy, energetic, fun, cheeriness, warm exuberance. This color is OK if you are stuck in the 60's.

PINK
femininity, innocence, softness, health. A personal favorite of mine....

PURPLE
Royalty, spirituality, dignity, sophistication, costliness and mystery.  This would be a great color if you were doing your PI work.  Uh well there is no purple for me to choose from here.  You will have to find your own.

RED
Aggressive, assertive, intense, strength, vitality, life-sustaining, passionate, courageous, insightful.  When you are helping SMS out and calling us down.

YELLOW
Tropical, Sunlit, healing, Illuminated, discovering, positively, sunshine and cowardice.  Way too hard to see when on the forum, do not use.
My advice to you Macca is to change your color everyday.  You will soon find the color that you love the best.  I think you look great in all of the colors that you have tested out, but we cannot tell you what is most comfortable for you.  You have to reach within yourself and let your true colors show.
Hope this helps.Thanks for asking,Lacka

Why Macca have you forgotten that the American poet Walt Whitman dedicated a book of his poetry to Pappy's reknown leaves by using them as his title?
