These chicks at work go to the break room everyday to watch the Bold and the Beautiful.  They print the script and read along as the show is taking place.  They go outside and smoke with the deer during commercials.  They actually get mad when something doesn't go their way.  Other people hit the breakroom at the same time, not to watch the soap, but to watch these two getting mad at the TV.

Bama, I am hurt that you would say that nobody on here would know what you were talking about with the Bill Kimm move.  Hello, have I not proven myself to you with my level of sports knowledge?   I am not even going to talk to you about Drew Davis.  I think the lurkers need to jump in and explain things, COME ON GUYS. JOIN THE PLAYGROUND.

Sorry Crackah, we shouldn't have ganged up on you.  You are just so dang smart. I am just forever havin to look up your words.   OK it was fun.  I will not do it again.  Please don't tell Macca.

haha. Yeah those soaps are ridiculous. I dont know how people watch for extended periods of time. The scripts have to get played out before long and soon have to turn to more drastic and unbelievable things to draw the attention of the viewer. -see also hackneyed.

I checked out The Ball web page and one girl on the staff there went to Northwest. Her name only said K-D so I am not sure who it could be. She would probably be a bit older than me though.

sorry Lacka, I said maybe no one would know. I had faith.

So I guess my question is, how do we fix it.  Do we up the gift that we didn't give.    Help me please!!!!!   What is the right thing to do??????

Lacka, remember my comment a few pages back about un-commercializing Christmas?   Haven't your kids ever played the "he got a better gift for his birthday than I did?", when the last thing in the world you would do is play favorites with your own kids?

Again, I don't know you or your husband from Adam, but am assuming you 1) gave from the heart  2) gave within your means 3) gave a gift you thought they would appreciate, then DO NOTHING !!!!!!

If the friends are still in touch, then they're happy, it's bothering you more than them, shake it off like water off a duck's back (don't forget the tail flip), and march on.  If they're acting miffed (can't believe they would), find some new friends, the friendship is based on the wrong stuff.

There you go again, Steve saying the right thing.  You really have a talent for that.  You are right.  Well they did hang out after dinner and have a glass of wine, and play the Desperate Housewives game with us.

It was just one of those moments that you wanted the floor to open up and suck you in.  I have laughed about it all morning.

They are not the kind of people that would walk away because of the gift exchange.  I do imagine that they chuckled a little when they got in the car, as we did when they left.

Lacka, if you'd stuck with EUSON, you'd be within 25 postings of the >100 club.  Sure you don't want to use the old name until you're part of the esteemed club??

Monty doesn't permit consolidating hits, he gets confused, really intelligent frog, but left his calculator in Mexico.

So I talked to the wife and she said that soap was the Young and the Restless. It has kinda the same scenario as Desperate housewives with the people being locked up in a basement/cave.

Stacka I think I will stick with Lacka.  I was just looking at that, you know cause Bama made the 100 mark and everything.  Lacka sounds so much better, frankly, I just cannot stand the thought of looking at NO SUE any longer.  I am dyslexic, so I was reading it as NO SUE all along.

I do have a technical question that you might be able to help with Staka.  I want to do my part so that we can make the big goal before the new year.

I stay signed on most of the time.  Laziness for the most part. So when I want to catch up I just "refresh".  Now don't let the other kids on the playground make fun of me.  I know I am at risk of asking a question where all others possibly already know the answer.

Does it count as a hit when I refresh, or do I need to go all the way out and then back in.

Post #16, You are right Stacka, I will never get there.

Bama did she find it at all ODD when you asked her the name of the soap?  I think I would wonder if my husband asked me.  However he does watch the housewives with me.

I didn't even make the connection with the housewifes basement thing.  Man you are good.  They really are all the same.  All of the people are beautiful, and they just pass out really cool  names, Blaze, Storm, Thorn, Ridge, Frisco, Bama, Victor, Ledger.

Oh yeah that was post # 17.  I think I will not look at the numbers for a while and then one day I will just be typing along and look over and be pleasantly surprised.  Or somebody will say WOW Lacka you reached 100.

Nah my wife knows about my new friends on here. Yeah Bama is a cool name. I just haven't seen it on a soap yet. Someday. Anyway, I never knew I had reached 100. I hope it was some profound statement that had a great impact on humanity. Probably not! Good Luck.

Maybe Macca is building up some ammo for the Road Rage Thread. I wish I had one of those Blackberry things so I could use the internet all the time. I wonder if you could post on message boards on it or just check email. I think at least you can view webpages, but i dunno anything else about it.
