OOOh, Speakin' of things happenin' in our area this weekend.... That new winery is opening up for real and for true this weekend.... Havin' a fancy grand opening or something like that.... Imagine that, our very own winery in this area! Might have to check it out just 'cause it's here! ❤❤❤

CHRACKAH! Did you hear about the "Idol" controversy re: Chris? I heard it on the news .... something about some fans were upset b/c of his rendition of "I Walk the Line." They were claiming to be really upset b/c he claimed it as his, but they say he stole it from another group....???? What's up with that? I would think there are lots of ways to interpret a song, but then my version could be similar to someone else's....❤❤❤

You know, I went back to the early days of the forum, and I realized we do still hear from the rest of our playmates, just not as often as we might like.... Feel kind of like "Puff." (as in The Magic Dragon)... "A dragon lives forever, but not so little boys...." Some of our playmates have to do real stuff, so they can't hang out on the playground with us so much (sniff, sniff) ....
Brings to mind something from Steve-o (aka "The Birthday Boy" ) laid on us: (I'll apologize now): "Those were the days, my friend, we thought they'd never end, we'd sing and dance, forever and a day..."
We need a good Lacka yarn right about now!!!❤❤❤

I hadn't heard the idol controversy macca. That's just silly don't ya think?
You plannin' on doin' some wine tastin' this weekend??? I really need to read my NWO cover to cover, but mini cracker won't entertain herself this evening and my other two "entertainers" are out of the house for the night.
Guess I'll go play Hi Ho Cherrio! And then a round or two of UNO. Wish me luck! She's tough to beat!

Hey Macca.. that reminds me, have you seen the commercials with Turtles??? The Slowskis? I think it's for Comquest or something, but they are a HOOT! Watch them if you can....
I love when Mrs. Slowski says "Slow is his middle name" and he gives her this really serious turtle look and says "Uh, my middle name is Matthew"..... proving the point that he's slow... oh well... It cracks me up!

I had some good posts, too! About a dragon named Rodney Dangerfield (No respect) and reminding Crackah not to cheat during the games.... Mine always try to change the rules as they play, to their advantage, of course!!

They dug a new well for my new place, yesterday. Apparently the old well, which has a housing so close to a shed that part of it goes through the wall, was not going to pass current inspection standards.
I know we built the new place on a hill, but they had to dig 310 feet down!! They hit solid granite at 140' and kept on going. They were finally happy with the pressure they ended up with, saying it was they best they had seen in the area.
I only wish they had bored the hole wide enough for me to take a gander at what was inside!

Just wanted to say a sincere Thank You to Patti & Sandra for the nice Happy Birthday in the NWO today............and was especially pleased to see it was from all my friends on the forum.
You are a special group, which I really enjoy being with, both at home and while on the road.
Was also pleased to see Monty made it into the paper today.....really made it complete !!!!

Ok Macca... I reported your trouble to the authorities over in Forum Troubles and I also PM'd SMS.
I told him you were panicking!!!!
BTW.... to all others reading, I got a PM from Macca and shem can't get on the forum... can't even write a PM... has to put text in the subject line. DREAD!
Hope I don't catch that bug!!
Hey Macca! Did you do the cookie clean up that Blue Dev had me do? Then maybe log completely off the forum, shut down computer and reboot?? Maybe that'll reset something... OF course I don't have my "GEEK Squad" license yet so what do I know.
