| I thought several times this week end how strange that nobody was posting anything on the forum. When I checked this morning I discover that the emails are just not coming at all. I have been not getting but a one at a time. For instance if somebody posts at MAAN and then somewhere else I only get MAAN and none of the rest. I use to get emails for each thread. Now I am getting nada. Cracker I thought you had left town!!

Jane, I'm so HAPPY that it's not just me!
Also glad that I'm not the ONLY one on here who depends on those emails!!!
I wonder if that's what's happened to Fat Pappy and Mike.

| yeah you guys might not see me on here til the sopranos season is over. Ive had to go on the sopranos forum a bit and chat it up there too. Plus I have a full time job. so.. haha. The Sopranos- lovin it!

The silence is deafening on MAAN tonite !!
I'm sitting in Flint MI, where the cars in the parking lot are getting frosted over. Felt like a Clydesdale walking outside tonite, exhale and get a cloud of my own breath back in my face.
will be watching the weather on road runner to see if it snows in S'field tonite........y'all could use a good 12" or so.

Ahhhh Steve... I appreciate your "snowful wishes" but the Cracker has resigned himmerself to the fact that it is not going to snow in Summerfield this year. There was a little bit of sleet when I went out tonight, but nothing to worry about.
I'm ready for SPRING now anyway!!!!!!!

Hi All,
Sorry for the problems with the forum. I've communicated with the folks who host our message board and they tell me that earlier this month they had problems with the server that runs the database for our forum. That supposedly is corrected now but they had to migrate to a new server. It is possible that they lost some configuration information during the migration.
If you are not getting emails when other members post in topics you participate in then I suggest you try the following:
1. Go to "My Account" --> "Preferences" and check the checkbox for "Always email...."
2. Also, on you next post in the MAAN topic check the "Notify me by email..." chekcbox at the bottom of the "Post Replay" screen.
Hope that helps...keep posting complaints if it doesn't get better.

I tried all that checking and unchecking of the boxes yesterday. Didn't work for me unfortunately....

Howdy Crackah....
Hmmmmm....I just got an email notifying that you posted to MAAN. It's maddening when things fail inconsistently.
One thing you might try is deleting the cookies in your browser. If you are using IE this can be found at Tools --> Internet Options --> Delete Cookies
