Sorry I do not have any experience/need for this sort of thing. I can ask on another forum and see what they say.

uh huh.  me too bama.

Remember in school when the teacher would show one of those 16 mm films on the life cycle of a frog or something, and all of a sudden it would start click click clicking and no matter what she did it kept on clicking and she would get so frustrated trying to fix it?

Always loved that...

Maybe you are too young to remember.

haha. Yeah i remember those. So actually I have used one b/c the teacher used to let students volunteer to run the filmstrip. I forgot about that. And really theres no way to know how long ago that was b/c in public schools, technology like that is never too old. Maybe.

Yea, and I know how to fix the 16mm film projector too, but I never told the teacher...

Not too nice.

Filmstrips... They definitley need to be in a time capsule somewhere.

I doubt it.  I'll ask Jacob Boyd. LOL

Figured since all classrooms are linked up with tv's and satellites and DVD and all that mod stuff, they have to have something to replace filmstrips... tee hee... I am gonna go over to his forum and ask him.....

I asked my teenager, "Do ya'll ever watch filmstrips at school?" Shem replied with much confusion, "WHAT IS A FILMSTRIP???"

Guess that solves that.

That is so sad:(

no wonder our public school system is in trouble.

And I loved those filmstrips!:D

Remember when you could check out a projector and the film from the public library downtown.

Ok Bubba... that is sad....Checking them out from the LIBRARY???  Sorry, that just made me snort .... Boy you musta been real bored at home!

Met a newbie over on  the student page (Anna Deimer 92nd member) and she said that filmstrips were obsolete.

I didn't figure today's kids who have to have 3zillionX megagraphics would put up with a rinky dink filmstrip!

And Lacka... GLAD YOU ARE BACK, but you are a liar. :D You know you know what a filmstrip is you dog...

Hola, amigos. Pappy's been over to the corner. Just checkin' in. Nuthin' to say really. Saw my little buddy donw sparrin' with bubba on the garbage forum. I thought about tellin' him there's some trash on the side of Lewiston Rd. at the bridge that says "Wendelkin for Town Council" but he never understands what I'm talkin' about anyway. That's OK, I never understand what he's talkin' about either.

Pappy, I saw that sign last week! I thought there was some law about having those things gone within a certain amount of time after the election....
