I just gotta say, there's a lot of really impressive information and points of view out there on all the forums; important subjects and well thought out posts. I believe good, open communication is going to be the best medicine for our town as we go forward. I want to express my gratitude to all who participate, either by posting or by reading what's here. Thanks especially to the fine folks in the playground who supply a nutritious diet of beneficial folderol and help us keep going.

Yo, Crackah

Pappy'll check on them younguns from time to time. Had to wander over to the "Where Are The Locations Of Outstanding Christmas Decorated Homes & Buisnesses In The NW?" section this mornin'. Pappy had to set down and ketch his breath after readin' that big ol' title. Good stuff over yonder!

"Folderol" is definitely a good word to keep handy around here. Pappy traded some whittlin' for a whole sackful of "Folderols" from some city feller. (I don't think he knew what they was and was tired of totin' 'em around.) I keep 'em out in the root celler so they'll be fresh when I need one. He'p y'self!

OK, I'm getting the hang of this, thanks to a teen age daughter who is more computer literate than her old man.  As you can see, Monty is getting excited about Christmas.

I TOTALLY AGREE, Bubba! It's been very entertaining and, in spite of ourselves,
educational as well! THANK YOU to everyone who has made it so much fun, and a VERY SPECIAL THANKS to Cracker Jax for leading us all to the playground!

CrackerJax, How do you do that????All those little computer tricks and all the fun and games. I'm adding my thank you for getting it started and keeping it going!

Thanks, too, to all you members who are just a little bit "off". However, because of you,I can't seem to finish my Christmas chores. If I'm not checking out the forum, I'm wondering just what else is in Macca's attic or mulling over the perfect gift for Monty....Hmmmm, I think I know. Euson, you are too funny for the stress I'm feeling. (bring it on!!)Skittles, have you taken your toys and gone home? The kiddies miss you...Come BAAAAAck. Merry Christmas to Bama who must be out hanging lights, to Jane and Steve, and to Bubba who reminded us what Christmas is all about, and to FP and all of you other young whippersnappers. By the way, I think I saw Fat Pappy in a red suit and a funny hat. Could it Be??????

And of course Monty & I want to thank Cracker for giving us all something to smile about at Christmas.   Wow, now I've got a whole group that travels with me everywhere (even though this week I'm happily home in S'field).  Cracker, you're just a big warm fuzzy hunk of FOLDEROL, be sure to share with your friends !!!!!

With regard to my weekend blooper on Dr Grief,  what a blooper !!  If I had planned that one, I'd have screwed it up.

I'm BACK! I MISSED YOU ALL!

Gosh ya'll.  I am going to take the weekend off more often!  So many wonderful comments!  I might have started this playground, but it would be NOTHING without all of you!!! I'm just so happy that there are so many good folks in our area who share such a wonderful sense of humor!

macca... your beautiful attic treasure brought tears to my eyes! And your sweet little ladybug is great! I am so proud of you! Thanks!  A+!!!

Steve....Stand up and be PROUD of your mix -steaks!!  That was GREAT! I am thinking you should coin that, or patent it or whatever. Wish I'd thought of that myself!

I wish ol' she-haw herself would stand up and take notice of Dr. Grief and Alan Duncan. We could really use her as a weapon in our little "tiffs" with the school board.

Bama... got a little road rage story for ya.  Goin' over to write it up in just a little while!

Pappy ...How much do I owe you for playground sittin' for me?  You did a terrific job as usual!

OH! and I heard that there really was a big old box filled with dead deer parts (Insert gory and graphic description here) spotted on the side of the road near the Hillsdale Brick store this weekend. As some of you may know, that is just across the intersection from the Stinky Texaco.

I hearby declare that Cracker Jax did not have anything to do with the dumping of dead deer parts in any area of Summerfield this weekend.  Cracker Jax has never knowingly TOUCHED a dead deer part nor will Cracker Jax ever knowingly TOUCH a dead deer part! Not even if there is a box between me and said dead deer parts!!!!!

Figured I might need to put that disclaimer in since we had referenced deer parts earlier on the playground as being a potential source of the stench at the Belco Store!

One more thing!

Welcome to the playground Vicki!
