Oh no -- I have been exposed!

When I came in this morning, Patti had printed out Cracker's comments (in color, I might add) and they were there on my desk to greet me.

I am sorry that I took all the cookies (I didn't actually take them -- Robert went and brought them to me -- but you probably don't believe that). I will admit though that I did EAT THEM -- mmmm, they were yummy!!! :P

Would you feel sorry for me and cut me some slack if I told you that was my dinner?

Well.... I guess I'll forgive you.

Next time I'll pack you a PBJ. Then maybe I'll get a cookie!

Tell Patti thanks for getting the message to ya!:D

Hey! Is it just me or has the header on this forum changed??????????  Town Talk?

I am not usually too observant (unless it involves cookie counting of course) and it could have said that before... not sure.

Cracker, quite to the contrary -- I have found you to be VERY observant and this is no exception.  As I've been sharing with you, our Web site is being completely re-designed.  We had talked about redoing our online forum as well, but for now, we're just trying to make some subtle improvements to its appearance.  So, you're right -- the header has changed and the title as well -- "Town Talk" will be our new name for the online town forum and the logo you see above is our updated logo that has the "10 years" on it.  Like it, or no?

Hey guys... in reading the quotes in my NWO I saw where some folks don't yet know that Stokesdale now has a DRY CLEANERS! Yaaaaaay! There is a real nice young couple from Walnut Cove that opened up a cleaners with alterations I might add... in the center behind the funeral home.... behind our FLORIST shop and beisde our FITNESS CENTER!! Stokesdale is growing... and I hope everyone that needs some cleaning done can bring these young folks your business....

My goodness!   Someone's been learning how to fancy up their posts!!  Good Job DToney!!!  I learned that if you click on the text of your message and highlight the whole thing you can actually read it!! ;) My old eyes aren't what they used to be, but I support your creative endeavors wholeheartedly!!!  :D

CRACKAH!!! I hope you don't mind if I answer this....♥♥♥

DToney: "MAAN" is "Much Ado About Nothing"... also referred to as "the playground," because it's just a place where we can discuss (almost) anything without fear of being busted for being "Off Topic!" We've got a nice little play group, but there's always room for many more!!!♥♥♥

"MAAN" has subgroups such as "Restaurant Review," "Bullwinkle's Corner" (we discuss "cultural" events), "Road Rage," and there is a new one about gardening. Then there is the original "MAAN", which is pretty much wide open for topics..... ♥♥♥

Come and join us!!! ♥♥♥

As you can see, I'm one of the ones who likes to be "colorful!" ♥♥♥
