This has happened in my family. My Dad is a Carolina graduate and we all grew up being brainwashed into loving Carolina. I wanted to be a vet so I applied to State and got in. I swore to my Dad that I would always be a Carolina fan. Shoot I was even born in Chapel Hill. When I got to State and went to my first school activity I realized what a great job my Dad had done with his brain washing. I saw the errors of my ways and have never looked back. I might have been a Tarheel born but I am Wolfpack at heart. Go Wolfpack!!!!!

Don't try to take a bite out of it....It may smell like bacon but they need to work on the taste....

Wooof! I know Hairbrush, it has always been a concern of mine with my Skiddies going off to college. Their daddy and granddaddy have really instilled the State pride in all of them. I wouldn't mind them going to any college or university as long as they follow their hearts in what they want to become.... but it would be hard for them to wear baby blue after wearing RED.

It fooled my Skiddys this morning. They ran down the stairs thinking I was cooking something good for them, but all they found was some shredded wheat and skimmed milk.

Anyways... Wake Forest does the tie-dye thing. It reminds me of bees buzzing around when the kids start getting excited and jump up and down. BUZZZ!

Oops! Bad scoop! Doggoneit isn't a spammer after all. Of course Doggoneit isn't a relative of Jane's either!

Uh huh......
Usually when folks can't remember the "tye dye" days, there are REASONS for the memory loss!!!!

I guess this could be a problem with a mixed school relationship. The children get caught in the middle and become confused.
Skiddles -- I'm confused by this post. Should I be?
Never mind... I figured it out! The Carolina vs N.C. State thing.... Last edited on Mar 21st, 2007 05:06 pm by macca

Macca, I think she means if kids are raised in a "Wolfpack home" and they end up gettin' their "heels tarred" when they go to college it must be confusing for them!
