Pappy, that's a fair request.

I'm happy to do that.

That's all I ever wanted to start with.

i dont understand the point in being so nosy about this.  why wonder all this if someone is only going to criticize everything and everyone?  u said the punishment was to harsh for the wreck at 68 and 158.  i think i would rather be punished then fired?????????????

As stated above, there's more to it than that. I think that small issue brought to light (in jim's view only for now) many more issues.

Also stated above in one of the many posts, he says that he believes the info he is getting will bring on a positive change for stokedale.

Anyway, I have no stance on this issue because there really hasnt been any info given. I just happen to have a good memory and actually read all the posts. if you are opposed to him being nosey, does that mean you have something to hide? I dont believe he is invading anyone's private life. From what I know, he is looking into public offices and organizations. Taxpayers fund these things. Someone needs to be nosey when it comes to that.

yea you have a point.  butt if you (Edited by SMS)   dont want to take time out of your busy life to volunteer your time for the community and help the community out than why put the people that do down in a hole.  yea (edited by SMS) has points about SOME THINGS.  (Edited by SMS) not the leader of this town, and does not rull anyones decision around this community.  if you are so worried about stokesdale fire than why dont you go help them out and join?  its scary to think the people that the fire department helps out talk bad about such a place. if something happens are you going to call the fire department?  every community needs a person to stir the pot and i guess stokesdale has that person.  there was a wreck with a fire truck and its over!  no one is hurt, and thats the biggest concern.  fire trucks dont just go out to hit other vehicles, it was a simple mistake so why bring it up any longer. everyone knows and you are not getting annwhere talking about it!  if your life is ruined because of your communities fire department than obviously you dont have much of a life!

Well I dont know if you were talking to me for defending Jim Flynt but like I have stated over and over again, I am taking no sides.

I think Jim has transcended from the Fire Truck incident and I believe he makes that point several times.

I also think there was a mini-debate about the volunteering part that you are referring to and I think you should re-read those posts.

I think all governmental entites, with the exception of the military, should have COMPLETE transparency. That's what I believe in. If you do the right thing, you'll have nothing to worry about.

This topic simply serves no useful purpose on this Forum.
