Yep, and sadly Robertson could line up the cups of grape cool aid, tell the followers god told him what poison to add and how much, so all should now drinkup, and there would be a string of people who would chug a lug right up.

Remember Jim Jones, Guyana ?   Elderly members, sign your SS checks over to me, and god will bless you (and bottoms up with the cool aid)

Remember Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker?   Send us money so God will let us give ourselves so many huge bonuses we won't be able to remember them all.    God wants us to live richly.

PS - I'm not a Joel Osteen fan either.

Isn't he the one who says God wants everyone to be wealthy?

Not sure, but his wife's the one that got kicked off an airplane for getting snippy with flight attendants.

Doesn't appear he's using any of God's money for dental work though.

It just seems to me that all of the aforementioned folks are simply after the acclaim and "cult" following achieved by Nostradamus and his prophecies (sp?)

I gotta confess though, that I'll watch some Sylvia Brown. If I ever catch her on Montel, I'm hooked!  I don't really care if she's really talkin' to dead people or not.  :D

Yeah, I kind of enjoy listening to Joyce Meyer.

It's that down home folksy way of talking she has.

I read an article a few months back that some "tv preacher skeptic" was accusing her ministries of some type of shenanigans, whatever it was, didn't slow her down any.

Whatever, I still think Pat Robertson is full of hot air.

I think Pat Robertson has a keen sense of the obvious. Of course terrorists are going to attempt an attack, and when they do, he can jump up and say, "Told you so!" But I bet the catch will be that the attack will be thwarted and it will all be because he made the prediction and, thus, put the nation on high alert.

Jim's article headlined the 'defective' line to God. Do you guys think that was Alltel, 'cause I'm dropping calls like mad up around Rockingham Co.? No wonder why the message got crossed!:D

Sandra, are you saying that Pappy reminds you of Jeane Dixon or that she too has predicted a bacon shortage?

Ok tell me this is a bad joke....

Mr. Mike, this is a prime example of how people can twist what you are saying and put words in your mouth.

If somebody would just put some bacon in my mouth, I'd shut it for awhile.....
