Steve...It's been my experience that when a female spoose says she smells something, she smells something.
Now, it could just be that her smeller is broken cause of the sickness, but If I were you, I would not dare say so out loud.

Well see, there's a story behind this (isn't there always)
20 years+ ago, when we were freshly married, & I moved into her house at the time, I convinced her how much money we would save by converting from electric water heater to gas.
She was all skittish, so I told her we'd have the gas company install it, so it would be done correctly. Had to run the gas up to the house in the country, etc. Great cost savings !!!!
OK, so one house fire, 2 months, & many $000 of the insurance companies money later, we moved BACK in to a newly remodelled house. Turns out the installers weren't so great afterall. (Disclaimer - this was not GG, we lived in another state)
Ever since then, anytime my wife smells gas, or any facsimile thereof, my opinion suddenly gets second fiddle.
Guilford Gas will be here after lunch to run a pressure test on our lines......

I have yet to smell anything (not that THAT counts)
We'll see if GG's pressure test shows up a real leak or not.

Ok I am back to catch up on the happenings. Been to Asheboro and came home up old 220. What a pretty drive. So I will try to add to the clicking as I also pay some attention to the work i am being paid to do.
Steve I had a similiar experience with natural gas many long years ago also a house fire but the two weren't related. i would get out of the car and smell gas. i was and am terrified of gas. I mentioned it to my husband who of course did not smell a thing. The gas people came out and did the bubbles test on all the out side pipes. Nothing. They then went next door and sure enough the next door neighbors had a pin prick leak which the gas guys said they didn't understand how I smelled ithe gas from that distance but I did. So I guess the moral here is "Keep Looking"
