Ok just for test purposes, set your avatar to one of the ones provided by the site.
scroll to top of screen
scroll to far right of screen
there are little green buttons there; one of which says my account.
click the one that says my account
then in that window, click the tab that says avatar
that will bring up the avatar screen and the ones provided by the site are to the left a little lower.
Once you establish that you can do this, then you are ready to find a more unique avatar.
This can be done by stealing one from another site by searching on google for avatars or message boards, or by resizing a pic of your own that you have (harder to do)
Once you find a pic that you like on the internet or wherever, right click and save it to your computer. then go to the avatar page on here and hit browse to upload it to the NWO page as your avatar.

I found it! Thanks Crackah, you are right ... My screen cuts all of the buttons off at the top. You might need to move to the right Lacka. Hope you find it. Hold down the playground...I'm off for a little RR in Summerfiled. Taking kids here and there.. Just call me, Taxi-R-Us. BBS

Well, I googled animation and smileys looking for anything I could play with and I found this site that has over 1000 smileys, Smileycentral.com, took my chances and clicked on download (this clicking thing is getting out of control). I crossed my fingers and had a moment of prayer (did I download that last edition of my virus protection) when this message appears that my computer has detected Spyware and did I want to delete these programs, well of course I said yes and away went all of my smileys 
So I am still avatarless and have very few play toys.

search avatars. you can search smileys too if that is what you are looking for. Also if you search message boards and browse through some peoples messages, sometimes you can steal their avatar if you like
P.S. an avatar is your pic under your name that shows up every time you post. An avatar and a smiley are 2 diff. things.
