 My dear Skiddles

I did not mean to offend you or the alternating generations of your family.  I think that what I was writing stems from watching that Chuckie movie when I was younger.  You know the one.  Where that doll comes to life and stabs people and stuff.  How do you know this is not happening when you are perched on your throne and she is behind you.  She could go stiff right about the time you turn around to check to see if she has gone Chuckie.  Doesn't that give you the creeps when I put his name in red like that?

Ok I am going to be honest here.  It really does not have anything to do with Chuckie.  I am jealous, OK you happy now, I said it.

Now I walk around with a glue gun on my hip and wear a roll of duct tape as a bracelet, I can do just about anything.  I have made a set of curtains with that glue gun, and have even upholstered a piece of furniture with a little of the bracelet.  But by golly I cannot sew, knit or crochet.  I would rather be stabbed in the eye with a knitting needle than to have to fight with a bobbin on a sewing machine.

I can whip out a can of creativity in most any situation, but this knitting and crocheting thing is beyond me.  People sit down and produce matching accessories while watching an episode of Desperate Housewives.  Hello, did you hear me.  They do it WHILE WATCHING TV.   I am amazed and jealous.

Here I sit at work today, wearing a scarf.  The scarf is unraveling a little on the edge.  You can’t really tell, cause I used the roll over technique.  Don’t even look like you are confused, you have all used the roll over technique. You had to cover up a little baby spit up, mustard that didn’t quite make your mouth, you know.  Don’t act like you haven’t.  Anyway I was just wishing that I had the talent to knit or crochet a scarf  last night while watching the Housewives to match my outfit for today.  But I don’t have that talent, so I am wearing the one that is unraveling.

I just have to say that people who can do this….My hat is off to you, so is my scarf.

Starcatcher

I did a little research this weekend on the yard art.  I am planning a little "how much is too much" post, and I am aslo going to let you know about some of the items that I saw around town.

OK so I took the weekend off from posting. SORRY! Even though I did somehow enjoy keeping you all in suspense about the wack-eyed smiley. It may be a no-no but I hyperlinked it from another message board. Therefore, if they ever change their smileys or the links to them, then that one would no longer show up. It definitely looks like this thread is a hit. I will have to try to keep up. enjoy the following while it lasts.

[xxooxxoxoxoxoxoxoxo]->insert wildest pretend emoticon here.
i knew it wouldn't last. All the emoticons being taken from the other site were taking too long to load on this page (due to being hyperlinked) and were slowing the page down.

Thanks Bama for sharing your secret!

(side note for macca who can't see smileys - it's the cutest little smiley spinning around!)

somebody that knows computer stuff may be able to figure out how to steal those from the other site and get them for use on here but I think that would take the NWobserver site admins adding to our emoticons library. If someone thinks they may be able to help, the PM me and I will provide info. Emoticons are also available for doqnload from random emoticon sites but I would not know how to get them for use on here.

I have like a bajillion smileys in my clip art folder, but they won't cut and paste into the postings.  I found an "Insert Image" button on this reply thingy, but it brings up a box asking for script prompts or some such nonsense....

Perhaps I will visit other blog sites to see what I can "borrow" for us.  If I get time, perhaps I will google it or something.

Until then.....

OH and macca... if I use a smiley, I'll be sure to describe it to you!

yieks! responding to my own post=depressing. Anyway, notice the above. those linked emoticons were slowing the page down. Thats bad. (for those n00bs out there)

anyhow. So whats with Furcal. ->that dog. especially after what Chipper did. However, previous expreience tells me that Bobby can do wonders with new players. c'est la baseball.
